A simple tasting room, open ceiling, glass-sided, warmed by the sun. Plus, good wines and people. Especially if you like Zinfandel, this is a great place to enjoy. Mauritson has four Rockpile Zins sourced from different vineyards. There are even soil samples from each place for you to see and touch. The soil from Cemetery Vineyard is distinct in its... more

My wife and been drinking these wonderful zin's for 2 years now. This was our second trip to the winery. Uncle Bob, Jan, and Hanna "Banana" were great hosts. Everything about the winery, staff, and wines are first class including "SoHo" the winery mascot. Great time, great winery, great wine, great staff. Capt Gary more

We had a glass of their '05 Dry Creek Zinfandel at a local restaurant, loved it and decided to check out the winery. Unfortunately, the '05 Dry Creek Valley Zin was sold out. We were able to taste a variety of other wines, including Rockpile. Oh My God - those Rockpile wines are the best! They also have a Grower's... more

We recently visited Mauritson Winery and must say it was the best stop of our trip. The tasting room is beautiful, the staff extremely knowledgable and friendly, and the wines absolutely amazing!! How often can you go to a winery and say you loved each and every wine?? That's what happened to us!! We were fortunate to visit after they... more

Folks, here is the mother lode of wineries. Other wineries have some good wines, but Mauritson has many great wines. Unbelievable tasting wines. We dropped in after having a glass at the Dry Creek Kitchen the evening before. Everything was fine with great aromas, nose, and superb finishes. Oh hell, it just tastes like the best wine you ever had,... more

We had the opportunity to visit tableside with Charlie and asked for a few winery suggestions. Well, we feel so lucky to have been sent by Mr. Palmer to Mauritson Family Winery. The team... more

Found Maruitson about a year ago just after they opened. What a find. I love their Sav Blanc and my husband is nuts for their Rock Pile Zin. Joined the wine club, SoHo what fun that is, named after their beautiful Yellow Lab. The feel is very relaxed but with it, the setting is right in the vineyards with plenty... more
