Mauritson tasting room was a fun , unpretentious experience. Staff was eager to pour their many delicious wines. Try the Rockpile vineyard Zins. Excellent! Look for the red umbrellas and picnic tables.

We were lucky to go to a Wine Maker's Dinner at Scopa and meet Clay Mauritson and then go to the winery for a tasting. We hadn't had their wines before and it was a great opportunity to taste some really wonderful wines. You should stop and try these wines.

Loved the fact that you could walk right up to the vines as you stepped out of the car. They also had a small area to enjoy a picnic. Mauritson is another amazing family run winery in Healdsburg's Dry Creek valley. The wines are worth the drive out to Dry Creek and the tasting room staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Their signature wine is the Rockpile Zinfandel but other options are also quite delicious.

The members of the Mauritson family use their talents growing the grapes and then making very good wine.

Had many a wonder-wine at Mauritson, watching and enjoying their yellow labs who we have knowns since one was a pupster! Family owned and operated by a super couple. There is never a disappointment with this winery. A must go!
