At the suggestion of Steve Fowler at Honor Mansion, we visited Passalacqua Winery and were not disappointed. It's a few minutes drive from Healdsburg. The grounds are beautiful, wonderful views of the valley. Unfortunately we had not called ahead for a tasting with food pairing, which other guests were enjoying on the outdoor patio. Next time! Wines were strong, among... More

How lucky were we to have been able to stay in the Passalaqua guesthouse for two nights recently (thank you to our wine club member friends). Sarah arranged for us to have a ninety minute private tour and tasting (all Cabs and delicious!). She was extremely informative, professional and organized our stay. The house is fantastic, relaxing, clean, and the... More

The couple my husband and I were traveling with have friends that are members of this wine club. These friends are hosting a tasting party in November and Jason (part of Passalacqua) will be pouring the wine (in Tennessee). Our friends love Passalacqua wines and wanted to visit the winery when in Healdsburg. We stopped at the Dry Creek General... More

This is a beautiful winery with great wines and very nice people. However, I am marking them for average since they have started restricting access to their gardens to wine club members only. That is really a shame. I can see that you might need to restrict access during certain times - weekends perhaps. However, the last time we visited... More

This winery never disappoints! We've been wine club members for years. Give them a try, especially the zinfandels.

This little winery sells wines only here! Talk with Tony and get great stories with each and every wine! This winery makes some of the most fantastic Zin's and Primotivos I've ever had.. I wish there was a 6th star!

I was recently on a girls getaway vacation to Healdsburg and we decided to visit Passalacqua after it was recommended to us. We were so happy we did! It definitely was the prettiest winery we visted and had the best views. All the employees were delightful and we got a chance to meet the owner and say hello to his... More

I have no problem with a winery charging for tasting, after all they are a business, but this is the only place we encountered in all those were visited in Sonoma where they wouldn't waive your tasting fee if you purchased a bottle. That and they were one of the more expensive places and weren't even any fun. If they... More

We have been visiting Passalacqua Winery for years now and find it even better than when we first discovered it. They don't make hundreds of different types of wines but, rather, concentrate on a decent number which they manage rigorously. Their Chardonnay is outstanding as are their various red varietals. And, to top it off, the tasting room and outside... More

We discovered Passalacqua by happy accident several years ago. It was the first wine club we ever joined. We had the pleasure of sipping with the owner and had the tasting room all to ourselves. In the years since, I am consistently blown away by not only their wines (especially the Zins) but by their customer service. I love you... More
