Specializing in delicious tasing merlot, zin and cab this small family owned winery is a beautiful stop in the Dry Creek Valley. Staff are friendly and knowledgable - a world apart from the crowded commercial venues.

Very small winery with fantastic wine. They only serve cabs and zins so if you are a white wine drinker you can skip this one. Last time we went they needed reservations so call first.

The wines are the reason to visit, not the tasting experience.

One of our favorite Zin's. Couldn't believe you had to write a personal letter to join the club but I did. Make a reservation and ask to taste their Select Trace Cab.

You must make reservations, but you get a very personal experience. Only the Cab was available for tasting, but we learned about the winery.

Our visit to A. Rafanelli was fun. The only sad part was that they are sold out of two of their three wines. The Rafanelli family advised me about this at the time of reservation. The Cabernet Sauvignon was outstanding.

The best Zinfandel in California. No restaurant, no gimmicks. A small, long established family owned winery that makes excellent wine. Supplies are limited, unfortunately.
