Okay. I visited this tasting room simply because my dog is also named "Preston." However, I really loved the place. I liked the 2011 Mourvedre the best. Odd, since this is usually used only as a mix, but this had a deep, fruity complexity. The olive oil is FANTASTIC. Bought a couple bottles of this. Great picnic area and tasting... More

We had high hopes for this winery as we'd heard about the approach they use - biodynamic and organic farming. The layout of the estate feels like a small step back in time to something familiar. The picnic tables outside, the farmhouse style buildings, the mixed agriculture with the vineyard, all makes you feel good about coming here. The Challenge...... More

We didn't get to spend a lot time at the winery because we were alerted to Preston while at another winery. We had but 15 minutes to do a quick tasting before they closed. We enjoyed the peaceful setting and the scenic drive to get there and happy that we made the trip. The staff was friendly and the wine... More

Long drive into very scenic valley location. Farm-like with organic products. Well priced, good wines, friendly behind the counter. picturesque picnic area and some cookbooks and gift items too.

Bring a picnic and enjoy the gardens, organic farm, and especially the wine! A fun place to check out. We go whenever we're in Healdsburg, and it just keeps getting better. They now have a little farm store selling fresh eggs and produce. Try the olives, too. Have fun!

Preston is a quaint, country winery that is WAY off the beaten path. While the serene grounds are great for picnics, and the bread and olive oil are delicious, the wine was just not very good. Sadly, we couldn't find one wine that we liked here... They're on the pricey side, too Our pourer was friendly enough, but even though... More

Have been going here for a number of years and never been disappointed in the great service and fine wines. This winery is a little off the beaten track and provides a wonderful setting for a peaceful and carefree picnic. Preston provides a full range of wine selections along with home pressed olive oil and baked bread. Also, with a... More

loved the blends. they are unique. not a huge variety of offerings - boutique place. We missed the jugs, but apparently on Sundays you can get a jug (think old Gallo jugs from the 70's of a red blend) for about $30 dollars. They sell out so go early. I would definitely buy from them again. The tasting are not... More

First of all, this is a working farm. And their grounds are huge. There is a nice picnic area outside the tasting room that we used to have our picnic lunch. You can buy bread from their bakery. We tasted wine (they were all good) and bought the 2010 Cinsault. You dont find this type of wine very often. Its... More

Preston Vineyards is a little out of the way, but an overall great experience. The wine is super tasty and the service good. They make their own bread everyday and it is AMAZING! I definitely recommend it. Lots of people make their own picnic at the vineyard and enjoy the beautiful view. On Sundays they do Jug Wine for $34.... More
