There is a little Sonoma County winery and vinyard on the Redwood highway in Healdsburg,California producing great tasting wine since the late 1890's. Foppiano Vinyard has friendly personel, beautiful views and an awesome tasting garden. The tasting fee for the 5 varieties was only $5.00 (refunded with wine purchase). Their quality wines are very affordable and easy to drink.

We joined the wine club at this small but focused Healdsburg winery. Their wines are delicious and affordable.

My wife and I spent a recent weekend visiting several wineries in Sonoma County -- and I highly recommend going there in November ... the colorful autumn leaves and vineyards are gorgeous, and I got some fabulous photos. We had purchased the Sip California card (at half-price through Travelzoo), which gives you free wine tastings at many participating wineries. Foppiano... More

This winery caught our attention because it is the only winery with a self-guided tour where you actually get to walk through the vineyards. We stopped in to do a wine tasting first, and the lady working was very friendly and talkative. We tried the 2011 Russian River Valley Zin, the 2009 Petite Sirah, the 2011 Petite Sirah, the Lot... A group of my friends went in for a quick tasting and ended up staying longer and having a great time. The staff were terrific! We were even able to meet one of the wine makers. Tasting good wine is always fun but when you add a great experience to that it makes for a wonderful time. So happy we... More

We read the good reviews so thought we would give them a try. Wine is a very personal taste and for us this place was not very impressive. Service was very average, nothing stood out.

Each year, sometimes twice per year, I visit Foppiano Vineyard. Their tastings are always rewarding, as are the narrow range of wines. Yes, narrow. Foppiano doesn't offer too many varietal choices, they only offer what they do extremely well, notably is their pinot noir.

We found this small Sonoma winery in my quest for good Petite Syrah. They deliver with excellent, affordable reds. We joined their wine club and look forward to each shipment. Their tasting room is a cozy casual place. Interesting to see the locals come with an empty jug bottle and get refills of their wine.

Foppiano Vineyards has a wonderful history in California. Some of their history is on display in their tasting room. It's a very nice place with the typical bar for tastes but the also have a few tables behind the tasting room under a massive walnut tree. Danielle, our representative, was extremely friendly and gave us insights to the wines were... More

I would stay away from this winery if you appreciate any kind of customer service. We came here during a wedding weekend, having received tasting vouchers. When we used at other wineries, they were extremely gracious and gave us pours/service just as if we had paid at the time. However, at Foppiano, they have a separate menu for voucher tasting...
