This is our #1 place to visit in Sonoma. The tasting room is in Healdsburg, a cute town to visit and walk around. The basic tasting is free and what a treat. Each serving of wine is accompanied by a paired snack. You can either stand at the bar or sit at a table. We have done both. As you... More

After several days in Napa we concluded our trip in Healdsburg. It was recommended to stop by Williamson Wine room. We are so happy to have met our wonderful host that brought us through an incredible journey of wine and cheese. Each pairing did not disappoint. While we were tasting we noticed an impressive wall of spices. I love to... More

We scheduled the legacy wine tasting in advance and am so happy we did! The food pairing was excellent and we learned so much about which wine to pair with which dish. They accommodated our picky dietary restrictions and the owners even came over for a friendly chat! Loved these wines so much we joined the wine club and get... More

It was nice to find a complimentary tasting room, but the best part was that the pairings were also complimentary. The pourers did an excellent job of explaining how the wine changed with the flavors of the cheeses and jams that were offered with each taste. Guests received 6 complimentary tastings and 6 different appetizers to go with the wines.... More

Amazing complimentary wine and food pairing. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Wine was awesome. Food bites were excellent. A must do in Healdsburg.

What sets Williamson apart is the fact that they provide small bites of cheese/jams/mustards specifically paired with their tasting wines. The knowledgeable server not only describes the wines, but also the rationale and science behind the selected food pairings. The cheeses, jams, and mustards are as good as the wines, and also for sale!

As a group of six we walked right in and were seated in their nicely decorated wine tasting room. We had no reservations. There are many different places in Healdsburg to go in and taste wine but very few accompany the wine with various foods to taste in order to get the most from the wine and for the wine... More

Everyone we asked before we came to the Sonoma Valley had Williamson on their must-visit lost...and we we not disappointed. Very enthusiastic host who did more than pour, he told us about the wines and the types of food they'd pair with I. Much more detail and educational than any other tasting this week. Each wine paired with a bite... More

I loved the enthusiasm of the server and the wines are very good as well. They serve tiny bites of cheese with a condiment that enhances the flavor of the wines so it is overall a very complete and enjoyable experience. They also have an entire wall of spices of high quality imported from Australia, so if you are a... More

This is an educational wine tasting and food paring experience. You can sit at tables and the wine and cheese, etc. is brought to you by a knowledgeable staff member. I ended up buying 2 of the mustard type toppings and already introduced the Wiliiamson wine experience to friends at my house. Everyone really liked it!
