We love really good wine, and this was memorable. The wines were huge, some of the best we've had in sonoma, after 4 days of tasting. The atmosphere, and the young lady pouring, was also great. She was quite knowledgable and answered all our questions. The setting was truly beautiful, and very relaxing. We loved the wine so much, we... More

This was our first visit to this winery and we found it very enjoyable. The wines were quite good, the staff very friendly but the grounds are one of the best points that make this winery stand out. There are seating areas outside but with just a short walk there are seats alongside Dry Creek that make the tasting just... More

This Alexander Valley winery is small but offers some delicious zins. We enjoyed watching the roosters and goats outside while savoring the wines from our tasting and listening to the nearby river. Any time a tasting offers a complimentary chocolate pairing pretty much grants them five stars. But Truett Hurst had us sold with the Lucy Zin (lovingly named after... More

My wife and I went to Truett Hurst winery for the 2nd time and like their wine it keeps getting better. The guys are friendly especially Dom. They are very knowledgeable about the wine they pour and never pressure you to buy or finish up. I lost count on how many glasses of wine I tasted but I walked out... More

Interesting tasting room, well crafted wines. Take a glass and stroll past vines to the river (short walk). Sit in a big adirondack chair and watch the salmon and trout in Dry Creek. Compare the White vs Black Sheep Pinots. Also liked the Luci Zin and Swallowtail Chard. Beautiful setting.

Compared to wineries further east, Truett Hurst Winery is truly a unique and fun experience. We enjoyed talking to Cory and Bob about the wine and the winery so much on our Friday exploration, that we returned on Saturday afternoon to buy another bottle of the 2011 Burning Man Petite Sirah and then spent the rest of the afternoon just... I love this place! The wine is wonderful and affordable. The winery is in the most beautiful location. You can take a glass down to the river and sip by the beautiful Dry Creek. It's heavenly!

Since this was our first trip to wine country, I did my homework to look for wineries that were small and enjoyable. Truett Hurst had so many positive reviews no matter what blog or site I visited. They absolutely are not to be missed! They were such fun - and very personable. They not only shared the wine's story, they... More

Always our destination after the Healdsburg half marathon; the wines are fantastic, the ambiance is wonderful! The Andirondack chairs call to us as well as the rippling Dry Creek, where, if you're lucky, you will see salmon running. A winery not to be missed!

Our first visit to Truett Hurst (of many to come) was an unexpected surprise. We were celebrating a special occasion with friends and Tom & Brenda Hearn (innkeepers of Belle de Jour Inn) suggested that my wife and I take our friends there for a picnic. We've been coming to the Sonoma wine region for over 20 years and didn't... More
