The winery is situated in a scenic setting where you can taste some good reds. They have some excellent wines and make sure you get to sample any you would like. There is a seating area by a running river where you can take a glass out and listen to the water. This a perfect place to unwind and enjoy... More

Go here. Not so much for the wine, though that's fine. But rather for the outdoor setting. Get a bottle of wine and take it to the river. Drink it sitting in the Adirondack chairs by the river and watch the water run by. There's fish apparently. But on a nice day its really quite perfect.

My wife and I drove up to this winery from Napa (we stayed in Sonoma that night, though) and really enjoyed the scenic drive up to Healdsburg. The winery offered very nice reds and we got to taste around 10-12 wines in total, which was great. They had the nicest patio area of the wineries we visited (Artesa, VJB, Vincent... More

We had a special treat when when stopped at this winery. After enjoying a tasting of 4-5 nice red wines we were encouraged to explore the earthy property taking a glass of our favorite wine down to the flowing creek. We relaxed and sipped the last glass while sunning in the charming red Adirondack chairs.

Aside from the delicious wine, the place where our group enjoyed the wine makes T-W memorable. There are four stations of five to six oversized, colorful Adirondack chairs. We sat within ten yards of the swift flowing Russian River. Savor ing the wine, the view, and a snack was a great way to spend an hour.

We stopped in here on the recommendation of a fellow tourist. We were not disappointed. The woman pouring wine was friendly and knowledgeable, and made sure we got to try all the wines we were interested in, all of which were delicious, but especially the reds. She told us about the winery, the grounds, and really made the visit feel... More

Truett Hurst Winery is a must visit when in the Healdsburg area. Their wines are delicious and the sitting area that they have really cannot be beat. Beautiful red adirondack chairs are set up by a stream (which at certain times of the year has salmon swimming by). I really cannot think of a better way to spend some time.... More

What a great winery. You really feel at home. No pretensions, beautiful grounds, nice people, and of course amazing wine! If you are lucky enough to get a tasting with Bob, you will love it. Bob is very easy going, knowledgeable, and fun to hang with. The wine is amazing and join the club if you can. We did so... More

Weather permitting this can be a fun place to visit. Not only is their wine great they have a lovely courtyard and a beautiful flower and vegetable gardens to stroll around which leads you to the Dry Creak River where they have these cute red chairs to sit and enjoy your wine and listen to the roar of the river... I was lucky enough to visit a few wineries last September when I came over from the UK to visit my best friend & her family. Of all the wineries we visited, this was my absolute favourite, a beautiful setting, you can buy gorgeous breads & cheeses and sit outside to savour the wine or simply try a few samples... More
