Worth the stop, great winery with a beautiful patio with lots of sitting to enjoy the wine and the sun. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable on the Healdsburg area.

My wife and I have now visited Mazzocco multiple times, most recently on National Drink WIne Day (February 18th), and have had consistently enjoyable visits. In the early 1980s one of our favorite wineries was Lytton Springs Winery, which was later acquired by Ridge. Mazzocco is just a short ride past Ridge on Lytton Springs Road. (Look for balloons by... Our hotel concierge in San Francisco highly recommended this winery. We go to several wineries a year when we visit the area and we always like to try new ones. My husband was delighted trying their wonderful zinfandels. J'nne was excellent in describing the different wines and making our experience really fun. You could tell she loved her job. It... More

My wife and I are wine enthusiasts (not connosieurs) and take about 3-4 wine vacations per year (including long weekends). Our favorite wine region is Sonoma, CA, and of the many great wineries there our favorite is Mazzocco. Though there are many California wineries we enjoy, the only one where we actually joined the wine club is Mazzocco. Usually when... More

Having recently received a nice bottle of Mazzocco as a gift, my eyes and taste buds reopened to the lush characteristics of Zinfandel. This experience drove us to visit Mazzocco winery during our visit last week to Sonoma and the Healdsburg area. The winery is very nice. The staff knowledgeable and friendly. We scheduled a private tasting with lunch. We... More

We had planned on going to Ridge Winery but they closed early on New Years eve. So we stopped by Mazzocco just down the road. I hadn't heard of them and was in for a pleasant surprise. We had a fabulous experience and really enjoyed their wines. The tasting room is very nice and the staff even better. We tasted... More

We were invited for the wine club get together . Everything was great except there should of been more Oderves. For the next time I would suggest more food especially for the high end wines we are paying for. Inspite of all this, thank you for a nice evening.

Visited here at the suggestion of another winery. The zins were outstanding. It is a low keyed environment, with great hospitality. We felt as if we were in someone's living room. Knowledgeable staff. It is in the heart of zinfandel country and certainly does not fall short of any of the better known competition.

A good selection of vineyard specific Zinfandels. The tasting included about 8 different zins. Their Cab Sauv is also very good. Great discounts for cases.

My wife and I love Zins and wow this winery has the best Zins that we ever tasted. Well I should say that Sausal Winery which was bought by another winery had amazing Zins also. Well we were so impressed that we signed up as Barrel wine club members and we also bought a mixed case of Zins on top... More
