Lots and lots of awards for the zinfandels here. There were two ladies working behind the bar and there were three couples tasting. Between the two ladies, it seemed like they were struggling to keep up. We couldn't imagine what it would be like if there was a room full of customers.

Six of us recently spent 4 nights at the guest house at Mazzocco winery near Healdsburg. In the interest of word economy…our stay was perfect. High marks for cleanliness, amenities, and the view of the vineyard. And, last but not least, all of the wines at Mazzocco and their affiliate wineries are reliably superb as well as all staff at... We decided to go to Mazzocco this past weekend after joining their sister winery, Soda Rock the day before and hearing such great feedback about Mazzocco and their zinfandels. The facility is drop-dead gorgeous, with great outdoor views and seating, as well as a beautiful tasting room. Robin helped us and was gracious, informative, very knowledgeable about Zins and patiently... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed visiting mazzocco winery. The wines were excellent, very big, deep dark colors - memorable. The overall experience was quite pleasant. Charlotte was quite knowledgable and very accommodating, to what we'd like to taste. The atmosphere was beautiful. We were so impressed with the wines that we joined the club. Highly recommend trying them.

If you are in Dry Creek Valley, you must be here for Zins, don't miss this place! This was the best flight of Zin we had in Dry Creek Valley, one after another amazing Zin.

Beautiful tasting room, amazing zins. The 12+ flight of tasting (which was at no charge... isn't it unusual nowadays?) was wonderful -- each tasting different, and all great. We did end up spending... eh... lots of money! We were treated well at the tasting room, but not sure if it was due to one of us (group of four) being... More

I've been a wine club member at Mazzocco for a couple of years because I like their wines, but the last 3 visits to the tasting room have been frustrating due to poor customer service and generally unfriendly help. On one trip, I was solo, picking up wine club wine on a weekday -- and I felt completely unwelcome. If... More

Visited here last year and we are club members. Sometimes after you visit a winery where you initially like the wines, they aren't as good as you remember when you get them home. There may also be some disapointment with future wine shipments not being as consistent as the original. Neither of these are a problem at Mazzocco...every shipment is... More

We won a fund raiser 2 night stay at Mazzocco guest house and didn't really know what to expect. We were there in late October with 2 close friend couples and had a very pleasant fun filled stay. Head winemaker Antonie Favero gave us thorough and entertaining tour of the winery. We got to do future barrel tasting and see... More

Yes, it's often crowded at Mazzocco because their wines are sooo good. We've visited their tasting room 3 times this year and plan to visit every time we are in the area. Mazzocco is part of 8 Wilson Wineries. We joined Pezzi King but receive complimentary tastings and discounts at their other wineries. We have visited all of the Wilson... More
