The wine produced by Ferrari-Carano was all very good. We sampled 4 or 5 of their wines for a tasting of $10, which is on the cheaper side as far as these go. They are located at the top of the Russian River Valley and are worth a visit to try some of their wine. It is very good wine,... More

The gardens and grounds leading to the winery are beautiful as well as the landscape surrounding it, and the sculptures dispersed in the gardens. We had the "regular" wine tasting on the main level as well as the reserve selections downstairs - each had wonderful offerings at reasonable prices. Everyone we came in contact with who worked there was informative... More

We visited Ferrari-Carano Winery based on recommendations from a couple of friends. What a beautiful place! The building and the grounds are pretty amazing. We went to the Enoteca Wine Tasting Bar for our tasting experience here, $15 for 4 wines. They do have the Villa Fiore Wine Tasting Bar also though, $5 for 4 wines. Very nice place to... More

This place is very polished and beautiful. The grounds are lovely to walk around, the bits you can get to that is. We were a little rushed through these. The tasting itself is downstairs. We stood up but would have preferred to be sitting at table. The lady serving the wine had some basic knowledge but that was about it.... More

We cannot miss this place every time we head up to Healdsburg. Just the initial walk thru the grounds and garden, then into the tasting room downstairs. One of the best for us!

We are wine club members (which I highly recommend). We came up for harvest weekend and it was one of best weekends my husband and I have ever had. The staff was amazing, the wine is amazing, the grounds are amazing! They have had the same vineyard manager and winemaker for over 20 years which means they are consistent and... More

I've been saying that Ferrari-Carano wines are the best for years, and we've been meaning to pay a visit to their Sonoma Valley winery forever. We made it for our 2nd anniversary, and all I can say is "WOW!" Didn't expect it to be so glorious...we stumbled into a magical garden area with small waterfalls and bridges and twisty creeks... We participated in the wine club's harvest weekend grape picking and winemaker's dinner. Our hostess, Teri Rolleri, wine club manager, is just the best. She makes every event a party, with FC's wonderful wines, lots of laughs, and great food. We picked beautiful Sangiovese clusters early morning with vineyard manager Steve and winemaker Sarah, and their team of field workers,... More

The building and grounds make you believe that you are in Tuscany. The garden and grounds are perfectly manicured. They are beautiful and free. The winery building it self is gorgeous. The wine is very good as well. If you are in the area, it is well worth a stop. Unfortunately, they do not allow you to picnic.
