Our group of 4 visited Ferrari-Carano last week and had a wonderful time. It's about 10 miles out of Healdsburg on Dry Creek Road. The Caranos have created quite a spread here. This is a beautifully landscaped place; very welcoming and easygoing. The wines are mass-produced, but this is a special place and well worth the visit.

We actually did not participate in the wine tasting as it was very busy that day. We did however look around their amazing property including a large garden area that is a must see.

Our guide took us here because I told him I liked gardening. This place is what I expected to see when visiting wineries. We stroll through the gardens, saw a real cork tree, took a few pictures in front of the vineyard, walked down to the basement to see the barrel storage room. We didn't purchase any wine here because... More

The second wine tasting at Ferrari-Carano winery was much better than the one we did the day before in Napa Valley. Sonoma Valley is indeed more laid-back and this winery located in the Northern part if the valley is very hospitable. Our host, Aaron, was very helpful with the choice of wines. Unfortunately, I must coonfess that Californian wines don't... More

Our visit to this winery with friends was wonderful. The staff in the tasting room was very jovial. One of them was celebrating a birthday so others brought out a cake and we all joined in singing HappyBirthday. I especially liked the Cabernet. The grounds are just gorgeous. I asked if they conducted weddings on the grounds, since it would... More

This was our second visit to this winery and I liked it the first time but we loved it the second time. They've changed things up a bit since we were here last and they were super changes. We toured the grounds first and they are immaculate. Then we went inside for both tastings (upstairs and downstairs.) Everyone was friendly,... More

We visited the winery with high hopes. Unfortunately we were let down. I suppose they have various employees who have more customer service skills then the gentleman who was pouring for us. We went downstairs for the more expensive tasting. There was no smile, no greeting. When we informed him we wanted to each do a tasting he scoffed at... More

This was my first visit to a winery and vineyard, and one of the best! Beautiful grounds and winery. Very, very nice staff. Really good wine! Highly recommend!

This winery has some very tasty wines, including the harder to find Fume Blanc, a dry white wine. Enjoy the tastings and then stroll their beautiful gardens.

This is what you expect to see at a Winery Estate~a large beautiful home with the winery surrousded by beautiful gardens with a little bit of stiffness. The grounds around the estate are lovely but no picnics are allowed on the grounds. The winery is located on several acres and the gardens are spread out. I was really more interested... More
