The ride was very fun, the trail leaders were very friendly and the views were spectacular. We got an extra special bonus with whales breaching very close to the shore at the time of our ride! The only problem was we were combined with new riders and walked most of the time. The horse are trail riders and of course... More

The horses are well cared for and in good shape. The guides are all gauchos from Latin America and clearly know their horses well. The owners were gracious and flexible (one in our party couldn't make it and they took care of it for us). Being on horseback on the nearly deserted beach is great! However, this program is clearly... More

My daughter wanted to go horseback riding for her 15th birthday, so took her and my son (10yrs) to Seahorse Ranch. We had an amazing time; my husband couldn't join us so we decided to do the 1hr ride to try it out first. We had a blast! The horses we had were so tame and listened so well! Mine... More

The guy that checks you in is the rudest person I have ever come in contact with!!!! He snapped at my 7 year old daughter! He told our family friend to stop mumbling while she was telling him her helmet size! (She just lost her mom to cancer and is very quiet after her loss). Flat out no respect!! I... More

Great horses and staff. The only hard part is the guides don't speak much English (Spanish is their dominant language). The ride was great and the scenery was so nice. We took the Early bird ride so the cost was low. Saw lots of birds and rabbits. The beach was so gorgeous and no one else was there but us.... More

I don't know for what I paid $95, it was 2 hours and all this 2 hours was by step!!! May be it's ok for first time on a horse, but not for experienced rider. Never experienced anything more boring and frustrating. I purchased: 2 Hour Trail & Beach Ride Saturday, July 11 2015 @ 11:00am - 1:00pm Booking #1166542

My boys enjoyed the ride. Horses were well-trained for any level. I loved my horse named Calisco. He was pretty excited before the ride but he was adorable and easy to manage. The views and the beach was beautiful! This can't be missed when you travel to the bay area

My friend (from Sonoma County) and I (from San Diego) met and took our daughters (two each) for this gorgeous ride. There were six of us altogether and we had varied experience riding - from none to experienced - and the team made us all feel comfortable with instructions on how to ride and control the horses. We loved getting... More

For a few years now, we have been checking items off our "before my boys leave for college" bucket list. One had "horseback ride in CA" and another had "horseback ride on the beach". So we killed two birds with one stone! We had a wonderful ride. We did the early bird special and the horses were fresh and ready... More

My boyfriend and I were in town for a wedding and decided to do the early morning ride. There were 7 people in our group and two staff riding along with us. They took photos for us along the way. We had a beautiful ride through natural terrain. Mountains on one side, the ocean on the other. Half of the... More
