Visited here with coworkers and was blown away by the beauty of it all. It was late May and very windy and chilly, but worth every second we spent there. It was a bit of a walk from the garage of the Half Moon Bay Ritz-Carlton to the beach....but during the walk, we got several fantastic pictures. More

This is a gorgous beach but you have to pay a daily fee for parking. Just down the road is Poplar Beach, which is free and equally beautiful. During the spring wildflowers bloom all along the trail on the bluffs overlooking the ocean. More

My family and I went camping at Half Moon Bay State Beach recently and had an amazing time. We stayed in one of the spots that were closest to the beach and I would recommend anyone else do the same. The camping spots that were farther away from the beach certainly didn't give the same experience. We fell asleep listening... More

Great restaurants, Pumpkin Festival, horseback riding, shopping and beaches galore! If you're in the area, this is a place you need to go even if just to drive the shore. October weekends can have a lot of traffic however. Plenty of quaint little cafe's and other eateries in town as well as seafood restaurants a bit north on the coast.... More

Hi Visitors & Locals, This trail is children friendly with appropriate supervision. I've been riding-walking the Half Moon Bay Trails since 93 as a resident and as a child visiting the beaches since the 50's. It's Spring here and the plethora of wild flowers & scents of native bushes fill the sweet on-shore sea breezes with a lusty spiciness. I'm... More

i parked down the road and walked aways to get to the beach, but didn't have to pay parking fee. There's alot of sand, and the people seem to respect your space.I went to the beach after lunch, and the walk felt great, and my feet in the sand felt even better. The water was clean, and the coastline was clear.A beautiful beach with great scenery.I live... Great Beach, but they will make you pay for parking. Better off going further down the Road towards SF to surfers Beach. If there is no parking You can park for free at Harbor Village and walk the Coastal Trail to see all of the beautiful beaches along Half Moon Bays coastline. More
