close to town and you can buy a pass for all state beaches for the day. Wear a jacket! Not a lot of exploring places like rocks.

Half moon bay is only a thirty minute drive from San Fran but what a difference. The bay has a cool fog horn. Great eateries and mavericks

The beach was clean, the views phenomenal, and the kids had a great time. What more could you ask for?

The beach stretches for a long way North and South of the hotell. Great to walk and admire the water, the Waves, the pelicans flyiing above, maybe an occasional sea lion, and so forth. The water is cold but the beach is Clean and the sand is gorgeous to walk barefoot in!

We walked up the bluff for a view of The ocean and could see seals bathing and playing below and whales in the distance spouting water - windy but beautiful vista.

Beautiful even on an overcast day. The water was extremely cold, but it was a fun experience being at the beach enjoying nature the way it was intended to be.

Went horseback riding along the beach right before Thanksgiving. Weather was windy and rainy but still beautiful with the ocean and waves. Little did we know how big the waves would be!!! We didn't think they would allow us to travel on the beach with waves crashing to shore so violently! We were engulfed in water but, thankfully, our horses... More

This location is great for family beach getaways. It has bbq pits and picnic tables and RV access. Great views await you and the trek to the beach is an easy one for all.

This beach is probably par for state beaches, but nothing to brag about. The parking is terrible. We stayed for about an hour and was ready to leave. They were redoing the RV parking. Looks like it will be nice when finished. Full hook ups at all sites. No trees for shade. Restrooms left something to be desired.
