Whether you enjoy just a walk on the beach or want to sit down and watch all the wildlife, this beach is what you are looking for. It is quiet and less populated then others.

Wonderful beach location. Easy access, clean and a great time for all. Best dog beach around for sure! Lots of shells too...if you kids like that.

Average dining in old restaurant with a historic building. Oysters in half shell was good but the rest of the dining experience left us wanting. Service was great.

I have been coming to the Miramar Beach Restaurant for over 5 years and have never had a bad meal or experience. The food is outstanding and the staff are always nice. If the weather is half way decent try dinning on the patio.

Miramar beach is the only off-leash Dog friendly dog park in Half Moon Bay and most of San Mateo county. So, expect to see a lot of happy, well behaved, off leash dogs playing in the water and nearby. This is not a good beach to take your kids to... Not unless you want them swimming with a ton of... This was one of our very favorite beach stops on our trip. The sand was the best and the waves were spectacular. Surfers were catching great waves and it was fun to watch. A beautiful place to stop, rest, reflect and enjoy.

Just a quick block or so off the 1, there's parking and easy concrete stairs over the rocks to the beach. You can walk for miles on great sand, very few people even in August, and of course, gorgeous ocean!

I don't know why everyone is posting about the resturant here. There is a seperate link for that. The beach was very clean. We were there on a weekend and it only had about 50 people spread over a 1/2 mile of sand. I loved the fact the kids could run around without kicking sand on other people. The waves... More

unobstructed view of ocean and beach-across the street. Large outdoor heated patio with several fire pits with wind shields. Good food and great wine list.
