Nice walking trail with a variety of landscapes along the way. Well kept asphalt walkway with many benches along the way. Great for biking. Horse trail alongside.

I find this trail very relaxing and would love to go there again. We have the option of walking on the trail, jump on the beach if you want to and walk there for some time and come back to the trail. We covered end-2-end of the trail, sat on rocks near beach for sometime, walked on beach half of... More

An amazing trail to see the westside of the Golden Gate Bridge and ocean. The history of the Sutro Baths was very intersting and fun to explore.

We stayed at the Seacove Inn and they had a ciuple of bikes we could use. We had a lovely day cycling through the little villages from Moss Beach right through to this trail and into Half Moon Bay for a coffee. Great day out!

We rented bikes and rode down the coast on the bike trail. It was hard to find a place to rent the bikes--the first one we called (from the Internet--"Bikerec.com" is out of business), the second one (Bike Works) was closed on Mondays, the third one (from a surf shop) was out of bikes but recommended the fourth one (another... We love to visit this place in the summer, or let's say our coastal winter. Very peaceful, preferible early morning or late afternoon. Nearby you find restaurants and coffee shops to warm up when and if the fog is too dense.

Great trail for bikes and walking. Goes along the coast and thru some foresty land. Restrooms and picnic tables available. Good surface. Lots of benches for meditation. Usually not too crowded. Lots of entry points but the easiest is thru the state park. Cand be windy at times.

Whether bicycling in dense fog or breezy sunshine, the coastal trail is refreshing, beautiful and a perfect way to enjoy our wonderful San Mateo County coastline.
