Definitely take the time to visit if you have the chance. There is cheap metered parking, picnic tables and benches to enjoy the scenery. The coastal views are stunning and there is plenty of flora to enjoy. Loved seeing the sea twisted cypress and cliffs. Lovely spot for hiking, biking, or running your dog. The beach below is pretty, but... More

It used to be much nicer. The environmental weenies have Laid down gravel on one of the major trails and it's quite uncomfortable to walk on now, unless you have on a rather sturdy shoe. Once you make it pass the trees the dirt trail picks up again very comfortable and lots of nice trails to walk on. Great views... More

You can walk as much or as little as you choose. Stop for a cocktail, coffee, or a meal, or just keep walking, running, biking.

THis might have been a bit much if the sun was out in full force, but on a slighly over cast day it is an amazingly enjoyable stroll to take in sea life.

This is a great trail, although a bridge has been out for many months so one cannot go as long as one might want to walk. Great views and bathrooms along the way. We like to do this before having a good lunch at the beach.

Being from Hawaii, the water is freezing cold!!! I did see people surfing in wet suits. But the water is below 50 degrees and very grey, not appealing to me.

We visited the trail based on it's TripAdvisor rating. Sadly, We were a little let down. I actually questioned whether we were in the right spot until we found the closed bridge others have talked about. Having spent the prior day in a park in Carmel we may have had our expectations sat too high. This trail seemed mostly flat... More

I wrote a previous review titled "One of Half Moon Bay's Best Kept Secrets!" which is still true, but with explanations. The long bridge that looks so beautiful in the photos is rusted out and collapsed and unsafe at one end. It will be closed until a new bridge can be planned and funded, which unfortunately will take a long... More
