Both courses are in great condition. The Ocean Course is an great example of the courses I played in Ireland. Moderate fee, but worth the price. The Old Course is a little tight, but still fun to play.

There are two courses to play: the old traditional one, which has a magnificent 18th hole along the ocean with a full audience of spectators from the hotel, or the Ocean course, which is links-style with lots of great views, but challenging fairways and greens. Both are golf cart courses, and are very busy during the summer months. We played... More

If you can't play Pebble or don't want the expense, try here. The majority of the course is on the ocean. So beautiful vistas everywhere. For the women there are 6 par 3's and for the men 5. There are 5 par 5's. Some of the course has public access to the beach as well as walking trails so, at... More

Course is beautiful, if you get a clear day, it is a huge bonus! Greens run true, this is real links play. Not really long, but when playing into the wind can be challenging. Its a must play, every hole on Ocean course is looking onto Half Moon Bay beach...stunning!

This is a beautiful course on the ocean front. It's a tough one, too. But, be prepared for rather steep prices, and if you want to ride in the cart along with your husband, it's $43!!

Played the Ocean course and it was awesome!! It really backed up at the turn and pace of play was pretty slow from that point. The course was absolutely plush and next to Pebble, my favorite of the area. It was really windy the day I played and a word of advice, pay attention on 16, 17 & 18 especially.... More

My son and I played the Half Moon Bay Golf Links on May 16 (Ocean Course) and 17 (Old Course), 2015. Both course offered great layouts and challenging play. We happened to play when the wind was not much of a factor but if the wind is ripping off of the ocean, it is even more challenging. The Ocean Course... More

Title says it all. Beautiful, challenging. Fun. Really can't go to wrong. Only critique is that for the $$ may expect a bit more service. The halfway snack bar was closed, no one around to clean clubs end of day (not that I really expect this, but many other courses in resort areas do it). Nice bar/club hours. Happy that... More

Staff were friendly, location is great, just 30 minutes out of San Francisco and great golf course. Mullins Restaurant had good food and pro shop were accommodating and allowed us out early without any additional charge.

We played both courses on a package at the hotel. The Old course was in the better condition and arguably less tricky than the Ocean ,the last 3 holes were really demanding. When we played the Ocean the sea mist came in and that was a challenge to say the least fortunately it lifted after the first 3 holes otherwise... More
