My experience at the Iron Door was very wild ,I was w/ the last person to ride their horse through the bar [Tammy]she told me about her experiences at the door as she was born in the town of Groveland.They claim that it is the oldest saloon in the united states and I really believe them [1852] more

Yes, you can find all of the aforementioned things at the Iron Door Saloon plus, the wrong or padded bills if you are not paying attention. The chairs don't fit the tables,and it is probably a good idea to bring your own silverware as if it is not already on the table, you can just forget it, just like the... more

The Iron Door Saloon has live bands on weekends and has a regular concert series with musicians of some fame! We have even enjoyed Eddie Money in this little mountain town on the way to Yosemite.
