Perfect for locals, easy access, no parking fees. Good for swimming, sun-bathing, fishing off the pier.

This is a great all-around beach, that has just about everything going for it except water warm enough for me. Great pier, beautiful beach, good food and close to UCSB.

I have been going there for 50 years. Nice place with gret pier. (Not many fish when fishing) Great place to fly kites at south end. Great place to bar-b-que with family and friends

Hard to beat the combo of good stuff available here. You are steps away from the UCSB campus, always worth a visit. Stunning beach cliffs and wave action. A great restaurant (Beachside Cafe). Free parking. Dogs are welcome (on leash) in both park and sand. Goleta is still a secret jewel of this region as locals know.

take a sunset walk on Goleta Pier and Beach.great bird watching; easy parking; probably not ideal for swimming as there is a lot of seaweed and ocean plants that wash up here.

Easy parking, clean bathrooms, great for a picnic or BBQ... Just a few reasons we enjoy this beach! If you don't want to pack a meal, go next door to the beachside bar and cafe. The tide varies, sometimes good for boogie boarding, but better for swimming, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. There is a terrific rental shack for... More

The beach is beautiful and the ocean is very swimable, however, there are naturally occurring oil drops all over the beach. Oil from the ocean floor creates tiny beads which get all over your shoes and clothes. You need baby oil to clean this stuff off.

I have been to this beach a few dozen times. I have some very good friends that attend UCSB and Goleta beach it's literally within walking distance of campus. Great place to hang out and eat at a restaurant that are right by on the beach.

Lovely area and well-maintained park. It was never crowded and we could actually enjoy our beach books and little picnic in peace. And the best part is that it was so close to the house!
