Based on the wine I would have given this place only three stars, but the extensive vinegar offer deserves four stars. I was not too enthusiastic about the wines. I also felt a bit pushed to purchase after the tasting but maybe that's what they have to do in order to survive. The free tasting of the olive oils and... More

I fist heard about B R Cohn from the music festival, but I stayed for the wines. If you are in the area in the fall, make sure you find out about the music festival. Over the years, we have seen Doobie bros, Dave Mason, Kenny Loggins, Heart, willie Nelson, Huey Lewis, Michael McDonald and many others. The wine is very... More

As a rule, I try to avoid these big, commercial wineries. I prefer small mom and pop wineries that give you personalized attention with no tasting fees, and usually arrange all of my winery visits in advance. That's not the case here. I had some time to kill before heading back to SFO for my flight home, and I was looking... More

Located on beautiful grounds, this winery is a must see in Sonoma. The wine is delicious and the tasting was fun as well. Garrett made sure to answer our questions, suggest additional tastings and make the entire experience enjoyable. Next door to the tasting room is their olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting room. Also delicious and a good addition... More

We visited the day after the fall concert. You would think everyone would be running on fumes. Instead the only thing missing from the fantastic party the day before was music. Lots of fun conversation and good insight to the BR Cohn wine. Try them all but be sure to taste the Pinot and the Cab.

Fantastic wines and beautiful grounds. We walked in and asked about a tour, instead a tasting was force fed to us; it could have been the crying kid that was in my group that did it... More hospitality and less business would have been nice. Food was much less in quantity than I thought it would have been. Oils and... More

What a cool place to visit - with a connection to the Dooby Brothers. We reserved the VIP tour and tasting and loved every minute of it. The staff were fun and friendly and showed us around the whole property. We tasted an array of different wines plus olive oil and balsalmic - really enjoyable. The particular day we visited... More

The wines are great, too, but the balsamic vinegar selection is amazing! We tasted the 25 year balsamic, and honestly could have sipped it like a fine wine! The blackberry and fig were also favorites, I loved the look of this vineyard and how friendly everyone was. We just happened upon this as we wandered up the road in Sonoma,... More

Very nice winery with great tasting wine. We tried 5 of their wines, 1 white and 4 red --- all were excellent! Absolutely loved Garrett, too. He was super nice, helpful and very knowledgable!

I was driving from San Francisco to Sacramento and had a few extra hours so I swung north. This place is well run. Super friendly. And the special selection Cabernet is great. Also as a bonus they were playing Led Zeppelin in the tasting room. That's always a plus.
