This is the best wine in Glen Ellen. I didn't say "winery". You won't find Disneyland here! Folks, you don't want to miss this little winery and vineyard. It is a gem from the past that knows real winemaking. I am proud to know that this little town has excellent wine makers as these people. Best wishes to you in... More

Wellington is a wonderful winery. Toby did the tasting for us and explained all about the wines. The wines are amazing. The white port is one of our favorites

The wines here are always the best of the day. We keep going back for that reason. Wonderful reds and ports. Small winery with a very nice tasting room.

First of all, the place is 100% solar powered, so I liked it even before I tasted any of their wine. The zinfandel was very good, but their port was the most impressive. However, they also had some chocolate truffles that a local chocolatier makes with their port, and they were AMAZING. I wish we had bought some extras to... More

One of the cool things about Sonoma Valley is discovering wineries you may not have heard of. Sure, there's Sebastiani and Ravenswood and such, but take some time to go to some of the out-of-the-way places. The wines here are good. The tasting room isn't anything special, but the staff is super friendly and quite knowledgeable. And very low-key. They... More

Good atmosphere and some decent wines, including an interesting white port. Very friendly place - completely solar-powered to-boot.

The staff member who did the pourings was very friendly and made the tasting time there fun. They have a nice white wine just under $10.00 that is very good Also a red port and we had a white port to try, which is something I've never had in Michigan

We have been to this winery several times and although it is off the beaten track, it is worth a visit for the peaceful and attractive environment and excellent port. Unfortunately each time we have visited we have encountered an unfriendly and unwelcoming attitude from the manager. The first time we arrived ten minutes before what was apparently closing time..... The lady doing the tasting was very personable and knowledgeable. Wines are very good; only costs $5 for a tasting and the fee is waived if you buy a bottle of wine. They had a very unique white port wine that was yummy. The place is nothing fancy. Go here if you want a low key place with good, affordable... More
