This was a great tour, led by a knowledgeable guide who was entertaining. We learned about the closed loop, biodynamic method of wine making which was fascinating. The guide gave us some wine while out in the grape vines. We also went into the wine cave which was nice and cool and filled with oak barrels of wine. After the... More

I took the tram tour along with my teen daughter, my friend, and her 5-year-old daughter. It is a beautiful property. The ride takes you up a hill, overlooking the property, then to the caves, and the processing machines. Our tour guide was very thorough and interesting. My teen daughter found some of the facts and tour interesting. I'm not... More

As most visitors to Sonoma we went on numerous winery/vineyard tours but found Benziger to be our favorite. The grounds are beautiful and our guide was very informative in explaining the various micro-climates and how Benziger is eco-friendly in their production methods. It was also nice getting into the caves to cool off a bit as it was hot the... More

We enjoyed the tram tour a lot, and the vineyards are so beautiful. It was cool to learn about the wine-making process from beginning to end.

This place is fantastic in beauty and in function- we took the partners tour and it was well worth the money- Jana was our guide and she really knows her stuff. We learned about bio-dynamic farming which is really amazing. The wines themselves are really, really good. The story of the vineyard's origins is equally interesting, If you love wine... More

The Benziger Family Winery is a great place to visit. I would highly recommend the Biodynamic Tram Tour as it was very educational and entertaining. Their wines were great. We also enjoyed a picnic lunch out on their deck while savoring a glass of wine.

If you have a change to do the winery tour, do it! Our tour guide, John, was very informative and humorous. We learned so much about biodynamic farming and how it affects the taste of the wine. It was the highlight of our winery tours. We also got a complimentary tasting at their sister winery, Imagery, which was also excellent.

Benziger makes some of the finest Organic/ Sustainable Wines, in Sonoma County, maybe in the world! The Tasting Room is a real treat! The wines you'll find there are finer than even the Benziger label bottles you can find at Oliver's or Whole Foods. It's a beautiful, easy, drive to go there and sooo worth the trip. They offer guided... More

As a family with 13 and 10 year old girls, we wanted to learn more about the farming process of wine, and an organic one in particular. We loved learning about biodynamic farming, and the friendly guide who gave us our tour. As for the wine... We're not really into cabernets or pinot noir. So the tasting for us was... More

We'd seen Benziger feature in UK TV programme and were fascinated to visit and find out more about biodynamic wine. We booked the 50 dollar partners tour and spent a great morning with Jana who shared her knowledge and her humour with us and the three other people in our tour group. We travelled in a small electric cart and... More
