The highest rank of biolocial winemaking process which is very much worth the ride up from San Francisco. A perfect trip around the winery in a wagon behind a tractor, just got the right feeling to it, which ended up with an interesting wine tasting at the end. Seeing the process close up without any chemicals what so ever was... More

I have been on a lot of winery tours and this one was probably the best I've been on. Upon arrival (on a Wednesday at about noon) the place was not crowded at all but I could tell that they were prepared. It seemed very touristy at first. The winery tour included a tram ride after all. However, the tour... More

We made the tour: It's a wonderful introduction to making wine in the area. The vineyard is amazing, but you will even see everything involved in the process of making wine. The wine itself might not be the best you can get in the valley (this is what we heard, didn't try all of them...), but the tour is perfect.... More

I had a day to myself and went exploring. First to Jack London State park which was fantastic and on my way down the hill, a stop at Benzinger winery. First off, it is absolutely picturesque with lovely grounds and a fantastic tasting room I was alone and tasted off their $15 taste. The red blends were fantastic. I was... More

My husband and I visited the Benziger Family Winery on the recommendation of the concierge at our hotel when I asked for a nearby winery where tours are given. The hillside property is quite beautiful and the tractor-pulled tram ride was very interesting and informative. This winery follows a biodynamic philosophy when growing their grapes and producing their wonderful wines,... More

Stunning vineyard! We did the biodynamic tram tour and our guide was such a character! Very informative. The tasting at the end was enjoyable and no pressure at all to buy any wine. Highly recommend!

not much of a wine person however my girlfriend loves it and booked this tour. it was incredible even for people who aren't huge wine buffs. you learn so much they take you all over the property with tastings all along the way. our tour guide, Kerry, was great and normally it is an 8-10 person tour we were the... This is one of the most complete, interesting and enjoyable Vinyard tours I have taken. The tram ride through the Vinyard is both fun, enjoyable and informative. The tasting room staff was very helpful. Highly recommended. And very nice wines to boot.

The hotel concierge recommended this winery as a nice introduction to a Vinyard for children. Our kids 18 & 16 loved it and were able to understand the whole process with the 1 hour tour. Pat is an excellent host and very passionate about the business. Wine tasting was excellent. Their flagship wine, Tribute is superb. It was named the... More

The Benziger winery is nothing short of amazing. Not only is the estate breathtaking, but the winery is also biodynamic. My partner and I opted for the Partners Vineyard Tour & Exclusive Wine Tasting, and Kerry was our very knowledgeable and personable guide. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our experience, from the behind-the-scenes look at the biodynamic estate vineyard... More
