Recently attending a private tour and dinner at the vineyard with a friend. Words can't describe how beautiful the vineyard is, and the private cellar for dinner.....just amazing! Sunshine (yes that's her name....ask for her!) took very good care of us during the tasting!

Don't bother to sign up for their wine club.....they totally messed up my order and their idea of fixing their mistake was to have me pay for it but told me it wouldn't happen again.......they don't know the meaning of customs service........no more Benziger wine for me.

Enjoyed the library tasting with a very informative staff member. Walked throughout the vineyard and the biodynamic discovery trail. The wines were wonderful. The passion by the staff and family members on their wine is truly amazing. Love these folks!

Toured the Benzinger Family Winery, which uses the biodynamic method of growing grapes without added chemicals or pesticides. This was a very interesting and educational tour in a tram pulled by a tractor, around the vineyards, the wine caves and then on to the tasting room. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable and the wines were sensational!

This was our most informational wine tour; we saw the 'caves' were the store the barrels, the 'insectary' as well as where they grow the grapes and a cut-away of the importance of the soil, etc. Each person who talked to us was quite passionate about the whole wine making process -- love the story of their origins and the... We had a chance to stop at Benziger while we were in Sonoma. The wines, which are biodynamically made, were wonderful. I am a Pinot fan and the Pinot tasting was incredible. The experience was enhanced because of our wonderful host, Joanne. She was extremely knowledgable and made our tasting something memorable. A five star recommendation for the hospitality and... I personally love Benziger wine and joined their club, but as mentioned earlier that is a personal taste thing. Their tram tour is amazing! we did it as our first stop over a weekend in the valley and we are so glad! We learned so much to appreciate the wine over the coming days, and the biodynamic farming is a... More

Didn't particularly care for most of their wines. Just a personal thing. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour him the information on biodiversity. This is really a unique winery and different from any of the big ones. Nice to meet family members and get their take on growing up in the wine business. All employees were very generous with pours and did... More
