We did the partners tour here and it was fantastic! We loved learning about the biodynamic farming practices and enjoyed this beautiful tour. This is the only tour we did during our trip to wine country and I think we chose wisely. The manager was walking around and introduced himself to us, which shows the family atmosphere this winery boasts.... More

Our family enjoyed the tour on a tractor pulled tram. We had a delicious wine tasting afterwards and learned about local spots from the great wait staff. This winery was recently sold, so we hope it does not lose its family atmosphere setting and fun that is evident. Truly a stop worth making.

I highly recommend taking the tour for this winery. The tour takes you through some of the vineyards and fully explains the biodynamic process. Learning about the process is extremely interesting considering so few wineries use it. If you aren't up for the tour, you should make sure to do the Library tasting instead of the regular tasting. This tasting... More

We did a wine tasting here and had a great time. The staff was super friendly and really wanted to talk about all things wine. Great stop to stop and enjoy yourself.

Friendly staff and a beautiful winery. Great place to learn about biodynamic winemaking. Went first thing in the morning (don't judge), and had a wonderful crowd-free experience.

We were visiting Berkeley from Florida and the winery was recommended. We had a well informed and very pleasant guide for our tractor /wagon tour of the vineyards. The tasting room was one of the best I have experienced-truly fun.

If you only visit one winery in Sonoma County, make it Benzinger. We take all our visitors here. It is a way to experience actually being in a vineyard. The tram tour takes you around this beautiful property up into the vineyards and a friendly guide tells you about making the wine and how they keep Benzinger a completely biodynamic... More

We went to Benziger Winery in September of 2014. What a mind blowing experience!! We had a private VIP tour with Betsy. I highly recommend seeing the winery this way, as you will be able to get to places the regular tours do not go to. Betsy is a wealth of knowledge and was able to answer literally every question... Been over a decade since I've been here. Either the first time I came it was less popular, or just a less busy day. Huge crowds, very theme part type atmosphere. I give them credit, they are biodynamic and definitely give lots to do for families. I've actually been a member of the winery for a long time and it... More

We learned a lot on the tour in an hour but it's pricey at $25. The wine tasting at the end is very rushed and you would be better off doing it on your own and getting a more personal experience. They give you one glass in the vineyard and that's nice. They should give you another two somewhere throughout... More
