I understand why locals anywhere and everywhere want to brag about the local people and places. We however, having had our expectations raised too high, felt let down. It may have been transformed from a dreary, dry bluff, but...
Love living close to this park. Nice walking trails, great play places for children, and love attending some of the events at the outdoor venue inside the park. Have used this park for many years. Sometimes the restrooms need a little attention, but usually they are clean and well taken care of.

Woodward park is lovely however in this tough economy I cant afford to drive in park but there is some parking at shopping area & offices across from main gate
I really dislike the entrance fee of $5, especially if you want to see the Japanese gardens which cost an additional $5. Great park, but the yearly pass should cost much less as well.
just a very nice park-very average - nice walking trails -picnic tables- nice place to take a book and do some reading
A lovely setting for Shakespeare in the park. A great breeze, nice sunset, and energetic actors. Three cheers!
