well,I've been in the zoo twice, I like the way nature is displeyed, but i think that animals need more room, the first time that i was there they had a sleepy bored lion, this time they had 2 tiger who were claiming their terrain making that amazing Grrrr! noise, that was really awesome!! The Fresno Zoo is very good. It is very well landscaped and makes good use of its space. The Fresno Zoo even without the animals is a shady little get away. With the animals it is great. The Fresno Zoo is probably the best attraction in Fresno and really I think is as nice as the Los Angeles or San... more

We went to the zoo with great expectations, these were not met. The zoo was undergoing some refurbishment and we were not advised of this when we entered, because of this almost half of the zoo was closed. The conditions/room that the animals had were heartbreaking to watch. Stay clear. more
