Let me start by saying the cedar bath was really relaxing and the massage was also very good. That's where it ends. We drove 40 minutes from the Olea Hotel in Glen Ellen (you must stay there!) for our treatments. We planned on continuing on with maybe some wine tasting or shopping in this area so we girls packed our... More

Excellent Day Spa and definitively worth a detour. I drove 1 ½ hours from Berkeley up to Osmosis and it was worth it! The Cedar Enzyme Bath is one of the best treatments I have received so far in my life. Amazingly relaxing. It is a quarter to 8 pm and I feel I want to sleep now - like... More

Luckily, the spa at our Sonoma area hotel was undergoing renovations and we found ourselves at Osmosis. What a lucky turn of events! A group of us (about 6 women) were each booked for a cypress mulch foot bath followed by massages (each in our own outdoor pagoda) and a facial. Every bit of our experience was fantastic. Had one... So we found Osmosis simply by driving by, as in we hadn't searched or see it on tripadvisor or elsewhere, but we had talk about getting massages while on this vacation, so we pulled in and checked it out and booked their signature Enzyme Cedar bath plus two Deep Tissue massages for the following afternoon. The place has a very... More

Osmosis is by far my most favorite retreat, of anyplace in the U.S. Its location is nestled deep in Sonoma County - Freestone, California. I've visited at various times of year...however, the best time of year is during lavender season. Osmosis' grounds are beautifully manicured, with Japanese gardens and lavender fields. The scent of lavender washes over you during those... More

LOVED the cedar enzyme bath, worth every penny as my skin has never felt so soft! Awesome deep tissue massage, wish I remembered his name! Wish I had arrived earlier to enjoy the gardens, can't till next time I come back to the area! Highly recommended, there's nothing like it!

We have been here several times. We combine it with a stay at the Inn at Occidental. I can't say enough about this spa. It is wonderful. Starting with the tea then the "mulch bath" which to me smells like oatmeal cookies. It is so relaxing. Then you get a massage on top of that. You are so relaxed by... More

Arrived after a short haul from Petaluma, to receive tea and wait for our cedar bath. A hot box of fermenting cedar and fir shavings await, we step in to get buried by our sweet and attentive attendant. Moments later she returns with the cool hand towels delicately placed on forehead and nape of our necks, tepid water to sip... More

I booked a romance package from Applewood Inn that included a 80 minute cedar enzyme bath at Osmosis Day Spa. After picking up a lavish picnic basket from Applewood, we had a short 1/2 hr drive to Osmosis. What a beautiful property they are located on! Started w/a nice tea service, our spa attendant Carona(sp?) was very nice, explained what... More

4 stars for the actual cedar enzyme bath experience, everything else 3 stars. The whole facility is a bit too small and feels cramped. Don't arrive too early. There is no decent waiting room, where you could relax in a soft bath robe and sip on some cucumber-infused water or green tea. They offered to wait either by shopping in... More
