My first trip to Liquid Fusion Kayaking was Labor Day weekend 2012. My dad and I signed up for the 3-Day Waves and Caves adventure kayaking trip on the Mendocino coast led by Jeff and Cate. It was an absolute blast! Jeff and Cate led our small group on a tour of the scenic coastline. We explored stunning caves, played... More

Liquid Fusion is owned and operated by a husband and wife team. They offer kayak trips for every experience and adventure level. The calmer trips launch from their boathouse on the Noyo River in the Dolphin Isle Marina and RV Park. The more intense trips launch from the beach and the tour is in the ocean. I took their sunset... More

It was my family's first kayaking experience. Cate is very professional, helpful, fun, and knowledgeable. We (including my teenage children) enjoyed the ride very much. Jesse

What a great experience for first time ocean kayaking!! :-) Jeff and Kate are excellent and patient teachers, and they had us doing amazing things, like riding waves over rocks and paddling through caves. It was so much fun!!! If we ever get the chance, we'll sign up for another class.

This was my first kayaking experience, and it was a great time. My friend and I took the sunset trip on the Noyo River, and it was just right for two first-timers. Cate was an excellent guide, the river was smooth, there was just the right amount of wind, and everything went very smoothly. I appreciated the clear briefing on... More

Surf kayaking in the ocean is a great way to spend the day! Jeff was a patient teacher and made it easy for us to catch on to the techniques and enjoy rides on the waves, starting off easy and getting more challenging as we gained confidence. The wet suits and gear kept us warm, even in really cold water.... More

We had our first kayak trip, guided by Jeff, along the Noyo River. We took the sunset trip and wanted a mellow cruise and tips for us as we are beginners at kayaking. We saw lots of bird life and gained knowledge of the area. Jeff gave us easy tips and information about kayaking techniques, different boats and where to try other... More

We opted for the Sunset Bird Paddle since none of us were experience kayakers and didn't want to do white-water. We were skeptical of the water suits we had to wear but found they were necessary, even on a dry paddle, since you get water runoff from your oars. We were able to see seals and several types of birds,... More
