The Botanical Gardens are a breathtaking place to visit. There is an amazing diversity of flowers and trees, and enough of them to take up 2-3 hours if you are so inclined.
Easy to drive by, but well worth a stop, especially for gardeners. The garden has a variety of plants, especially rhododendrons, which were just staring to bloom when we visited, and a delightful garden of different varieties of heather. It also features easy-walking trails to a bluff overlooking the coast, with great views of the ocean and the coastline. Finally,... More
We were taken here by my brother-in-law whom has been here previously. Even at this time of year we had a very good experience. This garden is very, very beautiful and would take one hours to explore it in its entireity. The staff were very interested in we customers and eager to answer any questions we had. Wow, this place is amazing and huge. Best of all they are dog friendly. We took our dog there to walk around the gardens and it was like going on an adventure. There are well paved/groomed main trails to stay on, and tons of small side trails to take through the various themed gardens. You can walk along the cliffs... More

The gardens were quite large and the location perfect. We enjoyed the walk through the beautiufl gardens.
Awsome spot well worth cost views to die for. Takes a few hours to see as well as a few miles of walking. Great place, great people
From the highway this does not look like a place you would want to spend time. However, looks are very deceiving. This is a several acre spread filled with beautiful azaleas and rhodendrom (sp?) which are in bloom in late winter/early spring. The grounds are beautiful and some wonderful, easily navigated, trails to the water.
This is a first class stop along Highway One. The gardens and beautiful and the walk and quiet as you go out to the ocean view spots is wonderful. You will love it. The cost is very reasonable and they have a senior discount. The little snack bar is also first class with fresh food made to order. Tony works... More
