There are two different beaches here. One that is easy to get to and one that you have to climb down a cliff for. The one down the cliff still has lots of glass. I commented to my husband that 50 years from now instead of glass it will be Styrofoam takeout containers. Ughhh! More

Somehow I expected there to be more glass, but bad or good, it seems people have taken away a lot of it as souvenirs. The beach has a really interesting natural landscape, though. More

Fun to look for rainbow of colors among the sand. Good birding in the brush near the beach. More

Loved sitting and gathering pretty green, orange, white glass. Bring sandwich bags to collect some sparkly souvenirs. More

The beach did not live upto the hype. People had already picked up the glass pieces. Did not look anything like the pictures. More

You do need to visit Glass Beach, but don't be disappointed if there isn't much glass to see. Just sit down and dig through what’s there and you will find out why it is named what it is. When I first came here in the mid 70's there was a LOT more glass, but it is still worth a visit. More

upon going down the beach go to the right for a quiet little cove to sit in. Lots of little treasures to see and wonderful tide pools. More

Hardly anyone was there. We sat and listened to the ocean for hours. Beauty divine. More

Reported to once been the dump site for Fort Bragg, near Mendocino, CA. The broken glass has been abraded into large pieces of "sand." A beautiful setting.. Sea, surf, rocks. And a small beach perfect for napping. No sand! More
