We've stayed at this campground twice, in sites 122 and 109. Site 122 is great, right by the lake with a lot of birds nearby and you can still hear the ocean. This campground has it all- tidepools, beach, boardwalk through the wetlands... we'll definitely be back. more

We visited this park one evening in early May. The beach is not the greatest one but the tidepools fascinated us for 2 hours and we only left because it was getting too cold. My family and I are frequent visitors to MacKerricher and always look forward to coming back each year. We enjoyed the sense of safety and privacy we get while we are at our campsite, go hiking, or walk on the beach.
