If you want to have a fun day, ride a bit of history, hear some interesting facts about the region and railroading in general, have a good lunch and maybe nap a bit on the way back, this is for you. It is especially nice in that they allow you to take your dog with you, more places should do... More

Part of the reason we travelled to Ft Bragg was to ride the skunk train. 4 hours round trip, a bit long for the kids, but I enjoyed the scenery and the history. More

I just did the Skunk Train round trip between Fort Bragg and Northspur with my dad-in-law (a senior) and my wife. Overall, I thought this was a really fun, unique and even cool attraction. We did the standard Fort Bragg to Northspur roundtrip behind the 1950's diesel engine. Parking was not a problem for the weekday ride. There's a nicely... More

Really enjoyed the relaxing train ride through a beautiful part of the country not ordinarily seen. Lots of great history was given along the way by the staff. The weather had been rainy at times, but it was still a beautiful ride, especially standing in the open car!! More

The train ride itself is really nice. You get to see some really beautiful trees etc. It's about 4 hours long, I woudn't say it's good for real little kids as they would get bored! The only issue I have with this attraction is the stop to eat lunch! Please pack your own lunch!! I cannot stress this enough! The... More

The Skunk Train itself (not counting their dinner) never fails to amaze! We took the diesel this time and past trips with the steam locomotive were even better. This, for sure, is a "don't miss" when you visit Ft. Bragg! More

The service from the staff was very good. The Skunk Train was comfortable and took us on a 3 + hour journey along the beautiful Noyo river and forest. The trees were very majestic. I will do this again. More

We decided to not take the Skunk Train trip we had paid for as my puppy was suffering from all of our traveling. We simply did not show up for our scheduled train. I was shocked to receive a call from a lovely young lady asking if we were on our way. It seems they held the train for us.... More
