Unbelievably good wine

We are members here and visit when in town. A club members party, great good, fabulous wine, great music, staff that is having fun, makes for great memories!

We had been in the eastern part of the Russian River Valley the day before and were told that the good Pinot Noir was on the western side closer to the Pacific so I did an internet search for good pinot winerys and found Hartford. We were not disappointed by the wines. They were the best. We bought 3 and... More

As I am trying hard to learn to like Pinot Noir (before going to Burgundy, France in October), 4 of us took a trip to Hartford Family Winery this past weekend after a great bike ride from SF to Point Reyes Station in Marin County. We were lucky to have a perfect relaxing day with very helpful and friendly service.... More

Went to the tasting room in the center of healdsburg. Very nice set up, the people were friendly and very knowledgeable. The pinots are just outstanding.

The winery was a little hard to find, but it was our favorite - with the best wines. Everyone was very friendly (not snobby as stated in a previous review). We brought a picnic lunch, and they were happy to come and pour the wine for us on the patio. We didn't realize Hartford Family Winery also has a tasting... More

This was the second time going to this winery. Wines are fantastic. It's amazing how one employee can really spoil the experience. Meet Tasha. After spending an amazing day through the Russian River for the Pinot Passport event we ended at this winery. The event was pretty disorganized with different start and stop times on every ticket. She informed us... More

You won't be disappointed! All their wines are excellent - Chardonnay, Pinot, , can't say enough good things about these wines.

If you are looking to see a wonderful expression of the Russian River Valley or Sonoma Coast AVA experience Hartford House fits nicely. High end to slightly pretentious, but in the end a great experience. The staff is well schooled in the HH products, as well as, the hot spots in the local area. The graduation of their wines is... This may not be as popular as some but the wines are excellent--that special Russian River chardonnay taste and great zins and pinot noirs... and the setting is lovely. At certain times of the year they will even bring in lunch for you. We found this a nice respite from many of the touristy-high pressure wineries we visited with lots... More

The building and setting help make California "our France". The wine is outstanding and the service on our visit was attentive and cheerful. Not inexpensive.
