We have enjoyed going to Russian River Vineyards a number of times. They have a good restaurant there called Corks Restaurant. We have dined there a couple of times. We once celebrated New Years Eve and had a nice dinner paired with wine. This visit we had a delightful lunch in their patio area and enjoyed a glass of wine.... More

What a fabulous find! We did a little research online - including Trip Advisor comments - to plan a recent wine trip. The Russian River Vineyards rated well, so we included Russian River on our winery tour. We couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised at the beautiful grounds, the innovative dishes at the restaurant, and the down-to-earth attitude and delicious... More

This winery has a restaurant on the grounds. Producing small lots of well made wines including some hard to find varietals such as Gewurztraminer. We enjoyed well made food paired with the wines. It is in a beautiful and historic location. A great place for lunch in the heart of the Russian River AVA.

We took the advice of our tour guide to stop at this winery. We were not disappointed. The grounds are beautiful and it was a perfect fall day for an outdoor tasting. The wines were delicious, but our favorite was Chester's Zinfandel. The hostess was outstanding. She was friendly and quite knowledgeable, which made our visit even more enjoyable.

We came here for wine tasting and immediately fell in love with the outdoor setting and the friendly demeanor of the host who poured for us. Her conversation and the setting was even more important to us than the wine. We loved it so much we came back for a second visit.

We stopped by and tasted and had lunch here this past weekend in a group. The wines were outstanding, especially the estate pinot noir. The area is quiet and beautiful, and it was fun tasting outside even as it started to rain. The restaurant was good, although the menu was somewhat limited. I have a feeling this was because we... Loved the grounds and the history of the place. The outside winetasting area is more like having a picnic. Exquisite scenery of the Russian River Valley. And did I mention how lovely the wines are? Yes, indeed!

They are remodeling. They have great staff and, best of all, THEY HAVE GREAT WINES. Go and see, like we did. We also joined their Wine Club. They are that good. You will not be disappointed.

New ownership has made Russian River Vineyards much improved over Topolos. We visited while on a special Wine road tour. A bar was set up by the old hop kiln bldg that is filled with bats. The servers were so fun and informative. The wines are much improved and the winemaker was there and signed the bottles I bought. My... More
