First, make sure you get there early if you can. Once it's open the normal wait for a tour can be an hour or more. The tour itself is guided and looks down on much of the operation. Unfortunately, it's a little difficult to hear everything and when it's crowded, difficult to see some things. They do give you a... More

Our relatives suggested this for our holiday itinerary. Given it is a free attraction there was a certain appeal. We were unfortunate to have to wait for an hour as it was very busy. It seemed that some schools had the week after Easter off for Spring break so lots of families. We ate our lunch first then my wife... More

Tip: if you do the Wine and Chocolate tasting you can jump the queue for the free factory tour (which was an hour long wait for us)and also receive jelly belly wine glasses per person. ($15 per adult $12 per child for wine/cider and chocolate tasting as at April 2015)It was fantastic! Ryan was such a lovely host for the... More

The factory tour covers the complete process of how they make these great jelly beans. It took about an hour. It is well organized. I recommend all to take the time to take the tour.

First off let me admit, I do not like jellybeans. Regardless, we went because we were staying with family in nearby Fairfield and it seems like it is "the" place to take visitors. The line was out the door which we were told was at least an hour. With a 6-year old, I was already dreading the wait. That was... More

The tour was informative and fun, didn't take too long, and we got a ton of free samples. Browsing through the shop at the end is a hoot! Who knew there were so many different Jelly Belly products?? A great way to spend a morning.

We are actually not huge candy consumers, but we thought this would be a fun and interesting thing to do while in California with our daughters (15 and 9). The tour is free and is not too long - approx. 30 minutes, I would guess. It is amazing to see the candy-making process and learn the history of this factory.... More

I stopped by the Jelly Belly Factory store. I didn't have time for the tour. So I will focus on the store. It is a great place to kill an hour. They have some items that are not available in stores in the Bay Area. I was disappointed that they didn't give you a price break for being right at... More

As a rather adult group, my husband and 22 year old son and I stopped by here after returning to Fairfield with a few afternoon hours to spend. Although it was not production day it was an interesting tour to see the actual areas of production and to hear the video explanations of the process. Not too long and not... More

We enjoyed the tour very much. The experience would have been enhanced by coming during regularly factory work hours so we could have watched the process first hand. We came late on a Saturday and the jelly bean production floor was closed. We could see the idle equipment and trays of millions of beans, but no processing work. The tour... More
