Near Hwy 80 in Fairfield (Northern CA), this is an interesting tour of a factory producing little bean-shaped sugar candies in which there are virtually no humans involved in manufacturing the product! The place is very colorful (due to the multi-colored Jelly Belly theme blanketing the whole place from the entrance on!), & noisy (avoid the school field trips if... More

Factory tour : 1 star Free Sample Bar: 5 stars I was so disappointed!!! My 8-year-old daughter and I had been looking forward to this tour as an educational experience with sugar perks. We went on a rainy weekday afternoon. Absolutely no line and less than 10 folks on our tour. It could have been so much better!!! Way, way... More

Visited the factory on our way back from Napa (30 miles north). Well worth the visit . Left with a 20 lb case of Bellyflops for 50 bucks . I'll bet the grandkids are gonna love us , but their mom is already whining.

the tour is an enjoyable way to learn about the history of jelly bellies and how they make them. You walk thru the factory overhead on walkways with TV monitors that the guides turn on for you when you get to each station. It is really cool learning how they are made and looking at how many there are down... More

My 4 year old is always thrilled to see the jelly belly from our car when driving on the 80. I finally had time to nab her from preschool early enough to see the tour with machines running (during the week only). She really liked it but I had to hold her up to see the tv screens. They should... More

After spending a couple of days in San Francisco, my wife and I decided to take this tour on our way to Sacramento. Had a lot of fun, as our tour was full of elementary school kids. They really enjoyed it and had a lot of good questions for the tour guide. I found the manufacturing process interesting. I never... More

My husband is a jelly bean nut, and so we decided to swing through here Sunday after a Saturday at Discovery Kingdom. We were really happy to see that it was very quiet and there wasn't a line to get in. Of course with it being Sunday the factory wasn't running. I had read some reviews saying it wasn't any... More

We were driving north on our road trip and did not plan on going to the Jelly Belly factory. When we saw the sign..;. we thought what the heck! The day was very hot and the kids were more than happy to get out of the van and see candy! The place smells heavenly! Free samples as we stood in... More

This review is from the perspective of a childless adult couple attending on a Sat. And I'll just say if you're thinking of attending on a w'end...well...DON'T. Sat & Sun are non-production days at the factory so the experience amounts to little more than walking around looking at dormant machinery & watching stale corp videos on big TV monitors from...
