Great for kids!

My son and I visited the museum and spent over an hour there. I had no idea that people lived in the region 10,000 years ago. There was lots for kids to do, and my son actually... read more

Located 8 miles east of Escondido on San Pasqual Valley Road just to the east of both the San Diego,Safari Park and the San Pascual Battlefield State Park - on the left side of the road. Open 9-4 Monday-Friday, and 10-2 on Saturdays. This is a small museum of local San Diego area history. There are some small interactive exhibits... More

We don't need to go far and wide to search for places that would interest the average Joe or Jill. Since gas prices has gone up into the stratosphere, just explore the places you've not gone to before or to those places you might have live in many years ago. I've done that just today. Wow! A few year and... More

If you got to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park this is next door. We spent about 30 minutes here. Our kids were getting bored. lots of displays reading with a good balance of hands on displays too. The natives plant displays at the entrance is wonderful to see. and Adult would spend more time here, much to learn about... More

My son and I visited the museum and spent over an hour there. I had no idea that people lived in the region 10,000 years ago. There was lots for kids to do, and my son actually learned something and the staff was eager to help him and answer questions. They told me they are going to change the exhibits... More

The Arch Center has a professional, friendly. and helpful staff. The museum has some excellent displays and the docent there will tell you about the history of San Diego county. Stop by, it is fun and interesting.

Went there to see what they have to offer. I do not like to take the wind out of their sails, but I felt like it was a bit immaturish. As if the Boy Scouts / Girl Scouts were running the place. It really did not have anything of interest for Adults. You can see their offerings in 10 minutes

Great little museum of San Diego history from the prehistoric to historic times. We like to take the convertible on a drive and stop here. The Center is staffed with very knowledgeable docents for a weekend visit. Hard to believe there was all this history before San Diego was paved over by development. An old Indian cemetery is near this... More
