I love the out door area with it's little nooks & crannies to sort of hide away in. Good family specials during the summer. Best apple juice in Ca for the non drinkers!
I stop here every time I'm in SD; really love the Stone beers and enjoy the tour. Definitely stop in the bistro when you visit.
Took the day off from work last Friday and decided to head toward San Diego area (we live 60 miles north of San Diego). It was late in the afternoon and I remembered that Stone Brewery had moved to a new location several years ago. So off we go and an hour later we're in Escondido, the new building is... More
If you're a beer snob and/or a foodie, you need to come here. The food is amazing and fresh. The beers are great and if you take the tour, you get to sample some yummy beers at the end. The location where this brewery sits on, is simply breathtaking. The grounds have a waterfall, turtles, greenery everywhere. Service is great!
Oh man, I was so surprised to walk up to this brewery...from the outside it is so industrial looking and so far from welcoming. However, you walk in and you think, 'hm...okay this could be kinda cool.' We bought our tickets and walked even further into the brewery and WHAM BAM! There's a fountain, a large rock wall with a... My husband and I had an extra day after a business conference and decided to go to hiking. However, it decided to rain that day and being the huge Stone fans that we are, we drove the extra miles up to Escondido and visited the Stone Brewery and Biergarten. The building is a little difficult to find because it is... More
If you are interested in beer, think you know beer, or want to know beer, this place is for you. You can tour the brewery to see how beer is made. They have many events during the year to show case beer. I attended the breakfast and beer and it was awesome. The beer selection is awesome. The outdoor garden... More
Stone is one of the most unique places in North County. It's tucked away in an unassuming building without signs, but hold a awesome beer garden and cool places to lounge and enjoy a beer. The food is a bit expensive, but you are paying for the atmosphere. The beer is incredible and the satellite store in Oceanside is a... More
The beer selection is even better than the last time I visited. The outdoor venue has been expanded with the same great taste. Food quality was great.
Our group of family and friends stopped here on our way to San Diego, recommended by our son and new daughter-in-law. Even though I am not a beer drinker, I found the tour and tasting very interesting and enjoyable. The $3 charge for tour and tasting, with souvenir glass was a real bargain. We had pre-booked lunch in the Bistro,... More
