This is definitely my "go to" place whenever I'm in the San Diego area. This place is just as the title says -- a meditation garden filled with gorgeous flowers and heavenly views of the sea. There are many places along the paths to sit and meditate or just enjoy the views. It's a place that enhances a spiritual connection.... More

In all the years that I have been coming to Solana Beach, I have never walked through these gardens. I am so glad that I had the opportunity today to walk through the gardens. The gardens are beautiful, contemplative, and very peaceful. I am most grateful for the opportunity to have a few minutes of my day spent walking through... More

We walk here almost every time we walk from our home along the coast. This is a meditation center which you can come and stay at their lodges on the premises which over look the cliffs in Encinitas. They have a nice meditation gardens which are free but they have a donation box inside before you go up the steps... More

Roam around the gardens, find a shady or sunny spot to meditate or just sit and listen to the running water. Walk out to the bluff and gaze at the endless miles of ocean as butterflies dance around you. One of the most peaceful and beautiful places I have been in my life.

We arrived too late the first time, but went back the next day and spent about two hours enjoying this quiet, lovely place. The Gardens are beautifully maintained by unobtrusive folk who go quietly and peacefully about the work. The ocean views were beautiful. We recommend taking one's time and just enjoying the unhurried pace.

The view alone is worth a million bucks and will be the lasting image you keep of the Pacific as seen from the San Diego area. I'm hesitant to write a positive review because I don't want the SRF garden to get overrun with tourists and visitors. The gardens are fantastic and incredibly well maintained it's no-fee to get in.... More

When you visit Encinitas you have to see the gardens on the bluff overlooking the ocean. I have lived here for 45 years and I still love going there. It is a meditation garden so you have to be respectful and be as quiet as possible. It's not a good place to let children run around.

Take you time. Restful places to sit are plentiful. Plan to sit, relax and contemplate. They request that you bring no food and beverages and take no commercial photographs.
