As far as I am concerned, Swami's is by far the most beautiful beach on this whole stretch of coast, especially so when you are in the water looking back at the land. There is a long and somewhat arduous flight of stairs leading to the beach (and up from the beach). This may put off some visitors who are... More

Parking is tough but the beach is good and close to the water.I hate when you have to walk rally far to get to the water. The water is very nice.

Big beach. Lots of parking off the road, some parking on the roadside as well, if you are able to parallel park. Be sure to bring sunscreen and any of your own shade that you desire, as this is a 'full sun' beach. There is LOTS of room here, tons of beach for walking, wading, swimming and sunbathing. There is... More

We visited this beach in March and the water is freezing by Florida standards. Be prepared to go down about 100 steps to reach the beach however once there it's more locals than tourists and great place to do beach yoga or rucking which we did as part of the Sealfit Academy experience and highly recommennd it. The sand is... More

This beach is not only a great surfing beach, it's a great beach for walking, running, sunbathing and shell collecting! Free parking but limited spaces. Bathroom facilities. Great ocean views from the top of the stairs! Stairs down to the beach. Situated right next to the SRF Retreat Grounds.

Swami's Beach is one of the most famous in the world for surfing beach. Parking is free, however, very difficult to find parking at peek season. It is also an ideal spot for surf watching since this beach appeals to the advanced surfer. Other activities can also include tide pools on the North side of the beach when the tide... More

This is the classic and storied surf spot in SD County. A very good reef break, and excellent spot to watch some really good surfers

I ordered a "ham and ham" omelette (came with ham and bacon) and asked for the bacon on the side. The omelette was brown on both sides and at best room temp. The breakfast potatoes and bacon were cold, and the English muffin was not cooked. Very disappointing and expensive to boot!
