We stopped there last night before heading out to LAX and enjoyed a few drinks while watching the NBA Finals. The bartender was very friendly and was generous with her pours. The place is a little on the darker side but I guess that's what makes it pretty cool at the same time. Great variety of drinks, great service and... More

I was looking forward to having a cocktail or three at this dive bar, as i had done my research on the best tiki bars. Boy, was it all I imagined. I slept in all the next day and flew out that night. Was it worth it? Hell yeah ! Got to meet ,sing and dance with the locals on... More

It's well lit, with clean, friendly, fast moving bartenders, so that kind of eliminates calling it a dive. There is a pool table and the patrons looked employed and for the most part they didn't look like they were recently paroled. I didn't even see any tattoos and doesn't everybody in the suburbs have a tattoo by now? Maybe this... More

Maybe we got a bad bartender but when we stopped here on Sunday afternoon expecting some killer tropical cocktails after reading the reviews, we were sadly disappointed. We are only giving them 2 stars because of the decor, which is well done and the vibe was laid back. Its a great dive bar but not great drinks. If you are... More

They serve drinks that light on fire in huge punch bowls, what else could you want? This bar is in the heart of downtown and while it's a bit run down and definitely a dive bar, it is fun for a laugh and a yummy drink.

This is one of those places that is a must see. Of course there are great Tiki drinks like the Funky Monkey but more than that owners Dave & Rebeccah have created an atmosphere that is always upbeat and fun, purposely funky and very welcoming. The decor is tiki chic, naturally, with an incredible curved bar that extends 2/3 the... More

The candy apple martinis are life-changing. So, so, so good. I try to recreate them at home since I live 3,000 miles from Purple Orchid, but they are not the same. Service is great too. I ordered a watermelon mai-tai at the suggestion of the staff. Hated it so they remade it. Still hated it, so they took it off... More

located in downtown El Segundo (close to the LA airport) in a great 50's style downtown, this recent tiki bar is a amazing hawaiian bar with a great tiki deco! small stage for live music, great cocktail, great mug, great service,... great people! I will be back for sure!!
