As a big horseracing fan this was the signature event of our trip, and it didn't disappoint. Beautiful location and wonderful unique architecture make this is a must-see if you're in Del Mar!

We know nothing about horse racing and betting but had a great time. There is a Newcomers session that is very informative about an hour before the first race that provides a little info about everything….actually packed full of good information. I highly recommend sitting in on that session. We lost all our bets but it was such a fun... More

My Aunt and I went to the Fab Fair this year and we had so much fun. We both learned so much through the Beatles and JFK exhibits. The ride tickets were pretty pricy but we had a blast.

The weather and refreshments were very good. It was very convenient. Vendors do not badger you for your business.

There was the parade hats with some amazingly creative hat. Then we settled in to watch the races, have some snacks, and just enjoy... More

The civility, beauty and splendor of this track completely washes away any grimy residue left from experiences at other tracks. The Del Mar Race Track reminds you why horse racing was once considered "The Sport of Kings". From the moment you purchase your ticket at the quaint ticket booth and enter the grounds, you're struck by the beautifully manicured, pristine... More

Jimmy Durante was one of the key figures who built Del Mar Racetrack. The history of the track can be found on any website..but the key is that it was originally built to entertain the celebrity elite of Los Angeles who would "take a train" down to Del Mar and walk to the racetrack. Today, with a modern remodel, it... More
