Nice wide beach with life guard shack and restrooms. Parking is challenging, but paid parking is across the street.

Beautiful, clean cloudy beach day. We sat and watched the surfers ride the waves, since it was way to cold to venture in without wet suits.
We live in temecula. 60 miles away. We are at this beach once a week in the summer. Perfect location. Life guard towers to watch for safety. Food close by or bring your cooler. Surfing to the south of the tower. Swimming to the north. Nice long walk in either direction
This beach is lovley.Lots of surfers.Great place to people watch bring a good book or have a picnic .We collected some great seashells but it started raining so we cut our day short.
Loved the beach!! We walked from the down town area of Del Mar and it was such a beautiful walk. The beach was not that busy as it was on a Thursday. But it felt really clean and a beautiful area.
The ocean was awesome. The beaches were close to the hotel. We did not like the cost of the parking for the beach. One area charged five dollars an hour.
Great place for a walk and the beach isn't over crowded--well, granted, I was there in March. Fun place to watch surfers and I'm sure the surf is just right when the water is a bit warmer.
Del Mar City beach is a beautiful beach. We spent a lot of time there during our stay. Never too crowded and well maintained.
Beautiful beach, ocean waves on one side and cliffs on the other. Not busy an weekdays. Love watching the surfers. Can walk long distances.
Off-season is so cool because everyone has a dog! But if you are visiting without the companionship of a four-legged friend, don't dismay. From experience, Del Mar Beach is one of those rare places were all people and pets can peacefully co-exist. : )
