Del Mar beach is very clean and classy. It has a grassy area for picnics and BBQ's, also a park for kids, drinking fountains for humans (and dogs.) Sunset with the palm trees in the foreground was SO amazing. Favorite photo of the trip. This beach is unique from others in that it has train tracks on one side, then... More

This is another great beach in Del Mar. Do go there while visiting Del Mar which is a really nice village in California about a half hour north of downtown San Diego. Del Mar is really cute and looks new England like.

I really liked this beach, as the sand was great, the beach was clean, and the ocean was great. It was a little busy, but I would expect that from a beach this good. I would definitely come here again!

Beautiful place for a picnic and our kids enjoyed playing in the ocean. Liked that there were snacks and bathrooms available.

Easy walk over the train tracks to the beach. Peaceful. Surfers, families. Locals. Great for just chilling.

We walk here twice a week. Great surfing for beginners to middle level surfers. Beaches are well care for and well patrolled. Many rest room facilities adjacent to the beach. Far end of beach is dog leash free and allow them to have fun. Lovely park next to old powerhouse, lots of grass, second park about that has great trees... More
