Very nice garden on the edge of campus. Nice pathways thru the different gardens along the very long "pond". Bike friendly. We walked thru the campus from the California St. visitors parking lot. Long walk but nice to see the different portions of campus, especially on a Sunday. Garden is well worth a visit.

It's summer and the campus is beautiful and not as crowded as the rest of the year. It was quite clean and busy. We have known several graduates over the last 40 years all of whom enjoyed their time here. It seemed very played back and friendly.

We loved exploring the campus by bikes. Students in the agricultural school raise cows and calves, and they are all accessible with the bike paths! Take your young children on the adventure! There is a wonderful Arboretum on campus. When you are ready for a snack, meal, or coffee, the Student Union is a great place for food. It was... More

It's a huge campus -- over 7 square miles. No cars o campus -- just bikes! Lots of places and things to see on campus depending on your interests.

It is difficult to describe the place and do full justice. It is the largest campus of the ten UC Campuses. And we make the maximum and best use of this large area. We have crop fields, wine, beer, horses, cows, an FDA-approved professional meat lab; you name it we have it. It is my home for eight hours five... More

GO AGAIN: The UCD Arboretum is beautiful with biking and walking paths. The redwood glen is cool and inviting.

There is a new visitor's center here, with very pleasant staff, and a parking garage very close by. It is next to an attractive performing arts center. Although there is some nice greenery along the river through campus, and some interesting plants here and there, I think landscaping could still be improved. Why no fountains? They would really improve the... More

Lots of trees and quad areas with grass. Nice little coffee/restaurant available. The rooms in Olsen Hall were average I believe it nicely kept. Great place for the 4H field day.

Our son dragged us all over the campus. We saw goats, cows, horses and whatever else he could show us. Nicely laid out and amazed at all the bicycles on campus.
