It's a very comfortable ride. The weather is usually very good so it's very smooth. If you want to spend an extra $80 for the Captain's Lounge it is a very nice splurge. On time, great boat trip, saw dolphins dancing in the water on the way. Walked around and looked at the shops, ate lunch, drove a golf cart on the island. Perfect day.

Great boat ride. Saw seals ,whales and visited with interesting travelers. Hour and fifteen minute cruise,inside and outside seating. Snacks and beverages for sale,too. Nice indoor seating.

Everything was very well run. The only negative would be the parking situation. You park near the check-in area but then have to move to a long-term area. It is a bit of a hike back to the boat dock. You should really allow plenty of time to do all that. There was only one ferry a day, so you...

The Catilina express is a great way to spend a relaxing day on this beautiful Island . Be sure to rent a motorized cart to be able to see the full beauty of the island. For the brave at heart there is a zip line ride also.

The island is as beautiful as I expected. There are so many things to do and I just learned about the educational programs and the preservation efforts. Will have to return.

Took the Catalina Express over to Avalon. Used a groupon so it made it a reasonable price. Had a wonderful experience and a wonderful day on the island.
