Dana Point Harbor is beautiful

Nice area, lot's of great restaurants. Some nice areas to walk, including the beach and the wharf. We saw seals in the harbor, people wave boarding..

The fact it was a lovely day did not hurt. This is a very pretty place for a nice, leisurely walk, with lots of picnic tables and barbecues. A small selection of pretty shops and restaurants, a great museum, especially for the kids. A couple of large tall ships are permanently moored here. A great day out

Play on the beach, walk the shops, walk out behind the Ocean Institute (our favorite) to get the "real" ocean, waves and all--it's awesome. We saw a whale from the point!

Just a beautiful harbor to walk around and look at everything. We were here to catch the ferry out to Catalina Island, but I can't wait to come back and spend more time here looking at everything. Just beautiful!

Beautiful harbor with great sandy beach. You can rent paddle boards, small sail boats or kayaks. Little waves present. Great place for small kids or learning to paddle board.

If its boats you want, there are a slew of them...to watch, rent, or buy. There are a few great restaurants...from seafood, to coffee shops, as well as cute little boutiques. This is a great place to take the Catalina Express from, or to Catalina. Great place to walk, also!

I love the Dana Point Harbor! It boasts so many different things to do from sports fishing, whale watching, kayak & paddle board rentals, shopping to dining. They have a little bit of everything. If you go a bit further into the harbor down towards Baby Beach you can see a tall ship the Pilgrim and visit the Ocean Institute... More

A lovely destination to add to your day on the coast. Walk around the harbor, have a coffee or a meal at one of the many restaurants and cafes. Drive up the hill for a great view!
