Many areas for various types of activities, beach, grass, camping, etc. Nice location, close to restaurants, etc.

With proper planning and reservations, in case one would like to have a BBQ area, or park a trailer or mobile home and stay a few days, this place is a lot of fun for people that love the ocean, and taking bicycle rides or strolls on the very nice trails. During the peak summer days everyone and their cousin,... More

Fond memories of sitting at a picnic table having lunch with my Mom, Dad and nephew. Would love to live in this area. Great for all ages. A lot to do.

It was just a nice walk on the beach from our hotel to Dana Point Harbor. The tide was out and the locals were out surfing and kayaking.

The weather was chilly, but we had fun beach combing and the kids surfed with rented boards and suits. When the tide is out it exposes a rocky area that can be filled with crabs, shells and other treasures. Very shallow area..would like to come again when it's warmer and we are able to be in the water more. But... More

This park is walking distance from Dana Point. What a great beach - very clean and the weather was great. There is camping nearby which will be good for road tripping. It was kits of fun watching the surfers.

Wonderful walking beach. The birds are a treasure to watch and there are always surfers to watch. There are multiple picnic tables and you can also have a nice barbeque. I enjoyed walking the beach and reading about the whales and birds.

We walked here from our hotel. It wasn't the nicest beach. But we still had fun. When the tide goes out there are a bunch of rocks. My husband saw a reef shark. There were only a couple of other people there.
