This was a really nice place to visit when we were in the area. The winery is on a hill and we sat out on the lawn and enjoyed some wine with a picnic. The indoor setting is comfortable, and nicely decorated in a rustic way, with lights and antler chandeliers. The wine was really good, I took a bottle... More

Went to this winery with a large group. Everyone was excited with the visit. The winery is run by a family which settled down here more than hundred years back. The area is surrounded by hills and walking trails. Walking here is nice and refreshing. This place is some six miles from Cupertino. You can visit the wine tasting room... More

This was the afternoon part of our "occupying ourselves on a Thursday in the San Jose/Milpitas area" adventure. You can get a cold sandwich there if you need to, but we ate at Vivi's first. They have a very nice selection of wines, of which we enjoyed most that we tried. We liked it enough to be disappointed that they... More

We found Picchetti from a Trip Advisor review and were glad we did. Tasting room in an old winery building is staffed by very friendly people. Beautiful area and winery grounds. The wines were excellent. Small fee for tasting is refunded on a wine purchase. Bought a bottle and had it with dinner that night at a restaurant. Excellent with... More

Less than a mile from the Montebello Rd turnoff in the Stevens Creek Dam area is the old Picchetti Winery. Of course you can wine taste but you can also bring a picnic, go for a hike, listen to music or just relax and read a book. The place was absolutely full of cars in the parking lot yet you... More

This small winery is just on the outside of Cupertino starting the rise of the Santa Cruz Mountains. It is a short drive and easy to get to. Parking can be difficult but if your game you could hike or bike in (not for me!). The tasting room is large but fills up quickly. Price is very reasonable ($10 for... More

One of the oldest wineries in the area. They offer some wines from one grape growed on site. These wines vary from year to year. Small production quantities drives cost up but we bought some anyway. They don't use labels, rather silk screen process puts gold ink on the bottle, also a unique feature. Peacocks run wild on the property.... More

Due to the drought,in Lake Tahoe we took a day to visit other sites including this one! It was fun! We were the only ones in the wine tasting room, so had a nice conversation with the employee. He had worked at the winery in Cupertino before coming to the tasting room in Tahoe, so was knowledgeable about the products... More

Great place for a picnic! Family winery with good wines and one exceptional Cab. The grounds are really cool, an old farmstead with barns, picnic tables, chickens, and peacocks, this is a winery you can bring the kids to. There are hiking trails and a county park there as well.
