Segerstrom is a first class center, with a rotating calendar of large and small plays, symphonies and dance. Travelling NY musicals are shown here; as well as smaller dramatic productions (in different theaters). The Symphony Hall has generally good acoustics; and a great organ, making it particularly good for the annual Christmas music.

We went to the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall to see Joshua Bell play with the Pacific Symphony. It was their opening night, and Carl St. Clair's 25th anniversary with the Pacific Symphony. Boy do they know how to throw a party! Fantastic music, and the acoustics of the hall are out of this world. Next time we go,... More

There are things I don’t know about Orange County. I know it’s down there somewhere south of us and that it offers nice restaurants, megatheatre complexes, shopping malls and our best-known amusement parks. I’ve even been to Anaheim Stadium, Arrowhead Pond and Los Alamitos, tanned on their beaches and wandered the galleries at Laguna Beach. So you’d think I’d know... More

We often attend concerts, musicals here. The performances are top notch and acoustics are good, though it is a large theater. Be sure to use the interactive ticket feature so you can see where you are sitting in relation to the huge theater

The Orange County Performing Arts Center is a beautiful and state of the art venue for plays and musical performances. The acoustics are excellent. I recommend sests in the orchestra section if possible. If you call for tickets, ask about discounts for multiple events. You will not be disappointed. There are several nice restaurants within walking distance of the venue.

To attend dance of any kind at the Orange County Performing Arts, with the red & gold Firebird appearing to be streaming right at you overhead, is an opportunity to revel in the young girls dressed up in tights, dresses meant for special occasions, flat patent leather or sequined shoes, ballet slippers and their long hair pulled out of their... There are two main venues that constitute the OC Performing Arts Center--the older one is called simply Segerstrom Hall; the newer one, the Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall. The old hall seats about 3000; the new one, about 1800. I am told that 1800 is the optimum size for orchestral events. The new hall is gorgeous. The Disney is... More

The building is spectacular, beautiful inside and out. The acoustics are amplified due to size of the opera house, but I have found excellent sound throughout the Performance center, It's always a treat to see anything at the OC Performing Arts Center, located just one block form the OC Shopping center (huge indoor mall) on Avenue of the Arts.

My husband and I have attended many performances at OCPAC for a number of years and have found them to be top quality with outstanding accoustics for sound. Last night, we attended the Franki Valli and the Four Seasons concert. It was phenominal. The sound was impecible and Franki and his singers couldn't have been better! The theater is beautiful...
