Visit if you can. Bring a student and get good deals. The different venues allow for grand to intimate productions.

When you attend an event anywhere in Segerstrom Center there is ample paid parking, BUT, if your event is in the Segerstrom Hall (the largest venue) you will want to park off Avenue of the Arts, just south of Sunflower. WHY??? There's a bridge/walkway from the parking structure directly to the 2nd level entry doors. You easily save 10 minutes... More

The backstage and under stage tour was fascinating but be prepared to walk. If you can also get to the Concert Hall - it is equally fascinating with the HUGE pipe organ and how the inner workings/tunnels facilitate the amazing sound.

The acting in this play at the South Coast Rep was nothing short of incredible. I saw it last Saturday night. Too bad my husband was not in town to share it with me. But we will see another play there --very soon!

Segerstrom is a first class center, with a rotating calendar of large and small plays, symphonies and dance. Travelling NY musicals are shown here; as well as smaller dramatic productions (in different theaters). The Symphony Hall has generally good acoustics; and a great organ, making it particularly good for the annual Christmas music.

We went to the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall to see Joshua Bell play with the Pacific Symphony. It was their opening night, and Carl St. Clair's 25th anniversary with the Pacific Symphony. Boy do they know how to throw a party! Fantastic music, and the acoustics of the hall are out of this world. Next time we go,... More

There are things I don’t know about Orange County. I know it’s down there somewhere south of us and that it offers nice restaurants, megatheatre complexes, shopping malls and our best-known amusement parks. I’ve even been to Anaheim Stadium, Arrowhead Pond and Los Alamitos, tanned on their beaches and wandered the galleries at Laguna Beach. So you’d think I’d know... More

We often attend concerts, musicals here. The performances are top notch and acoustics are good, though it is a large theater. Be sure to use the interactive ticket feature so you can see where you are sitting in relation to the huge theater

The Orange County Performing Arts Center is a beautiful and state of the art venue for plays and musical performances. The acoustics are excellent. I recommend sests in the orchestra section if possible. If you call for tickets, ask about discounts for multiple events. You will not be disappointed. There are several nice restaurants within walking distance of the venue.
