Lamb's Players Theater is a very small theater company that creates a wonderful evening event. The size of the theater ensures that every patron feels himself part of the performance, yet the caliber of the acting and staging is very professional. This is a lovely way to spend a relaxing evening in Coronado, whether you are visiting for the weekend... More

My wife and I came across the theater while just out for an afternoon stroll while visiting Coronado. On a whim we went inside and checked out what was playing and decided that it would be fun to see a show while on vacation. We saw The Foreigner which we absolutely loved! The theater experience is small enough (maybe 300... More

While in Coronado on vacation it was such a pleasure to discover this absolute jewel box of a theater. Excellent sight lines from virtually every quite comfortable seat and steeply tiered so that even Kareem abdul Jabbar couldn't obscure your view. The lobby and adjacent Cafe were very well decorated assuring you that you're in the right place. We really enjoyed... More

What a wonderful night we had at the Del listening to the "Lamb's Players Theatre" perform "An American Christmas". The performance was stunning, food was wonderful beginning with appetizers overlooking the ice rink and ending with pumpkin cheesecake. The night could not have been better. This was our first time to go and I went with visions of the last... More

The yearly Christmas show at the Hotel Del is worth seeing once in your life time. They do a christmas family get together that takes place exatly 100 years ago. ie the 2013 show takes place in 1913 and between fun christmas songs they talk about events which took place that year. Even better than the show at the Hotel... More

We have been regulars at Lamb's for 17 years. That's about 75 plays and the number of disappointments we could count on one hand. This season has been exceptional with Fiddler and 39 Steps among the best ever. Five stars. Each year Lamb's runs the Festival of Christmas and this year was a premier for the original play. The plot... More

We saw The 39 Steps here last week. Great production! The actors were amazing! The theatre was nice, but the seating was very small. I was surprised by the size of the theatre upon entering. Very steep stadium seating. Several 'regulars' commented about the amount of patrons here the night we went. It was a full house the Thursday night... More

Saw a couple plays here. Its really nice. A small production. Always great acting. Friendly service. Nice small theater in Coronado. If on travel its a really nice night out to have dinner and see a play. Lots of dining within walking distance. And free parking if you can find it on the side streets

No shows available the week we were there. Also some of the shows advertised there were not playing there. It was in another location in the City of San Diego.

Dear Charlie, We are glad you visited our beautiful community of Coronado, but sorry you found our theatre closed that week. All theaters go "dark" for a brief period of time between productions as one set is taken down and another set loaded in, and technical rehearsals are completed. Unfortunately you caught us between a terrific production of FIDDLER ON... More

Well priced, professional production of "Fiddler on. H Roof". Production design was exception. Performances were solid.
