Free public park close to city center. Kids love the playground and adults can enjoy watching them from the benches around the play area. In summer there are free concerts in the park on Sunday afternoons. Families attend and bring picnic's and wine. The library is right across the street and they have a wonderful coffee cart and snacks available... More

But nothing special. It's smallish for a municipal park, although beautifully landscaped and maintained. It has a nice bandstand that looks to be of the 1920-30's era. Even on a weekday, parking was hard to find. I got the impression the locals want to view the park, and Coronado itself, as somehow isolated and insulated for the rest of San... More

The park in itself is a great central location with plenty of restaurants all within walking distance. Has a strong community feel. But it was the concert in the park a couple weeks ago that really brought everyone together. For a public event, it was really well organized, filled to the brim with BBQ and family/friends getting together. No one... More

What a beautiful park and lovely pavilions. We were there for a reception and had a great day. Other folks had the same idea because their were all sort of people in the park , having their own celebrations !

There is a little bit of everything for all ages. The park is directly across orange Avenue from the library. It is host to summer/fall Sunday evening music. A great children's playground. Lots of room to spread out a blanket and have a picnic.

A perfect park for a 3 year old. My daughter had so much fun we came back a second time during our vacation. Great playground equipment and a large green grass good for running around on.
