Our favorite beach. Very clean, beautiful, and fun. The planes flying overhead add to the experience. We found several intact sand dollars early in the morning

Very nice beach in the heart of Coronado. Flecks of some mineral in the sand look like gold. Gentle waves, good for kids. Parking can be tricky, I used the valet up at Miguels.

This beach is rated the #1 beach in America, supposedly. I don't know about that, but it is a great beach. When you pull up, they have bathrooms and showers for the public, free of charge. They have stairs or a long ramp if you are bringing a cooler with you. There is a long concrete path that goes down... More

Big, wide beach, huge waves, not very crowded, decent restrooms, fantastic view of Point Loma. Iconic red roof of the Hotel Del Coronado in the background.

This Beach is easily among my favorite beaches. I'd first visited here a few years back and we fell in love with Coronado Island and Coronado Beach. Since then, whenever we're in California we make a point to visit here. It's hands down the most relaxing Beach I've ever been to. Where other beaches are about people watching this Beach... More

This one of the longest, nicest, cleanest beaches that I have been to in a long time. Soft sand, warm weather pretty much always, and lots of places to visit and grab a glass of wine or a snack. The best part is that you can ride the trolley system in San Diego to all the highlights of the downtown... More

My husband and I visited in September to beat the dog days we had this year. Best beach around. Bring shoes though... its a long way to the water from the street. No erosion here.

Wow. We visited Coronado and stayed a couple of relaxing hours at the Coronado Beach. We sat, admired an played in the Pacific Ocean at Coronado Beach by the Hotel Del Coronado, one spectacular looking hotel! The beach is the widest and cleanest beach I have ever seen with beautiful grainy sand that is darker than the Gulf sand I... More

The beach is clean and not too crowed. If you want some extra entertainment walk to the end of beach for dog beach. They are so jun to watch interact with their dog friends.
