This beach is right across the street from Loews Coronado. This is a great beach to walk along while occasinally stopping to pickup and look at the different kinds of seashells. Occasionally you will see the Navy Seals running down the beach.

This beach is right across from Loews resort on Coronado Island and stretches for miles all way way to town. While La Jolla might sport more dramatic views, this beach's silky sand, calm waters, and lack of kelp smell makes it my favorite in the greater San Diego area. The water is so calm that it would be the ideal... More

This is a great little beach on the island that is not too busy. However, parking is very hard to find. You have to cross over on the Coronado Bridge, which is several hundred feet high. If you do not like driving over bridges, you may want to stay on the mainland.

Beautiful beach! We visited off season, so the beach was pretty vacant. Still there were a few people enjoying the ocean and the sand. We spent a couple of hours wading in the water and combing the beach for shells and sand dollars. walked under the highway and spent a little time on the bay. Plenty of parking, restrooms and... great secure and clean beach run by the state. It has lots of picnic facilities for large and small groups. You can enjoy San Diego Bay as well as the beach.

This is the perfect beach for family relaxation. Four miles South of the Hotel Del Coronado, this beach is far enough from the main part of town that you feel like you're on any amazing beach on the globe! You can walk through tunnels right under highway and reach the bay where it's perfect for kayaking, sailing, swimming and enjoying... More

I reserved a space 6 months ahead 103 at the beach. I was hoping for sunny September weather and I got it. The water was 75 degrees and the ocean shore when on for miles to walk the beach. On an early morning walk we found endless sea shells and left them where we found them for others to enjoy.... More

The beach was unwalkable. I went down, unfortunately at high tide, and was unable to walk more than 10 minutes before I grew tired of hopping over and around fly-infested mounds of seaweed. This could be because it was the off season and, as I mentioned, high tide, but it wasn't what I expected. Definitely not somewhere where I would... More

Lovely beach stroll and it was only quick tram ride from our Loews hotel. The weather was so nice we walked back to the resort.
