Gorgeous gardens, fun place--enchanting and a great way to spend an hour or so. Great little gift shop too.

Spending time in the Fatdens of Sherman Library and Gardens is to know true bliss. Peaceful vistas, intimate gardens, playful wildlife all combine to make a wonderful visit. Luncheon is served Monday through Friday in the Central Patio, and the Crepary Cafe is open weekends in the Tea Garden Patio. Totally delightful eating experience at both locations. Definitely recommend a... More

The garden is somewhat small, but beautiful. There is a lot to see and take in here. Take your time and stroll through the grounds. We enjoyed the pond where a bunch of turtles were sunning themselves on a log. We also liked the cactus garden with all of the beautiful landscaping and colors. The tropical room was humid but... I have been to the Sherman Garden twice now and have not been disappointed. It is relatively small as gardens go but has beautiful plants and flowers. They allow Photographers to use Tripods as long as they are careful not to damage the plants.

I have liven in Orange County for longer than I would like to say, and this is a place I take out of twoners that never disappoints. If you are a garden or flower lover, this is the place for you. The floral scapes change with the seasons and are always beautiful. There is also a succulent area and the... More

The gardens are located on East coast highway in Corona a Del Mar and offer a nice place to visit horticulture displays of beautiful plants, flowers and trees, all attractively arranged. There is an audio guide for your cellphone which describes each of the plants and shrubbery as you stroll through different types of gardens. There is a koi fish... More

I have attended a handful of receptions at Sherman Gardens. For a facility that sits off a busy street, once you are beyond the entrance gate the outside noise seems to completely fade away. Perfect setting for a wedding reception!

If you like different flora displays then this is worth a visit. The cactus garden was really original and great for ideas. The flower garden and pool garden were also good with artificial bird statues made from wood and concrete - another idea if your creative. The shop was well stocked with a variety of goods not just garden related.... More

Visiting from Virginia in January, we discovered this lovely, quiet, manicured garden in Corona del Mar, California, by chance and were delighted with our find. The beds in the garden by the café were alive with yellow and red poppies, giant primroses, foxgloves, and colorful anemones (which I've never seen in Virginia!). The flowering plants are changed frequently and all... More

The gardens are beautiful. Best seen in springtime. I went at Christmas. It was pretty, but the colors of spring are more interesting.
