I have been to the Sherman Garden twice now and have not been disappointed. It is relatively small as gardens go but has beautiful plants and flowers. They allow Photographers to use Tripods as long as they are careful not to damage the plants.

I have liven in Orange County for longer than I would like to say, and this is a place I take out of twoners that never disappoints. If you are a garden or flower lover, this is the place for you. The floral scapes change with the seasons and are always beautiful. There is also a succulent area and the... More

The gardens are located on East coast highway in Corona a Del Mar and offer a nice place to visit horticulture displays of beautiful plants, flowers and trees, all attractively arranged. There is an audio guide for your cellphone which describes each of the plants and shrubbery as you stroll through different types of gardens. There is a koi fish... More

I have attended a handful of receptions at Sherman Gardens. For a facility that sits off a busy street, once you are beyond the entrance gate the outside noise seems to completely fade away. Perfect setting for a wedding reception!

If you like different flora displays then this is worth a visit. The cactus garden was really original and great for ideas. The flower garden and pool garden were also good with artificial bird statues made from wood and concrete - another idea if your creative. The shop was well stocked with a variety of goods not just garden related.... More

Visiting from Virginia in January, we discovered this lovely, quiet, manicured garden in Corona del Mar, California, by chance and were delighted with our find. The beds in the garden by the café were alive with yellow and red poppies, giant primroses, foxgloves, and colorful anemones (which I've never seen in Virginia!). The flowering plants are changed frequently and all... More

The gardens are beautiful. Best seen in springtime. I went at Christmas. It was pretty, but the colors of spring are more interesting.

The gardens are nice to walk around, especially liked the succulent garden, although the Library was shut when we were there. We had booked to have an afternoon tea and were so disappointed. The 'Devonshire clotted creme' tasted just like cream from a spray can, it certainly wasn't the traditional clotted cream. The strawberry jam was runny like a liquid,... More

Lovely place, very well kept. Small, so easy to fit in in a short period of time if you're looking for a break from driving the PCH. Restaurant had outstanding food and service.

We had gone to the Sherman Gardens once before a few year ago, so I knew a return trip was a must. It was even more beautiful than the last time I went, which I didn't think possible. The various gardens within the garden are so very well done and maintained. The rose garden has some of the biggest and... More
