It's not Disney- but fun if nearby on a summer weekday

This review applies only to mid-week visits, especially later in the day!!! (I would never go on a weekend, and avoid Monday's and Fridays because of long lines) We live nearby... read more

This is a great water park with a wide selection of slides, including good areas for young children, as well as a wave pool and a lazy river. The food concessions we used were good quality. We spent a fun day and the time just flew past. Well worth a visit.

We had 2 adults and 4 kids and rented a cabana during the midweek for $125, For whatever reason, one of the kids didn't get a wristband so the 6 staff members standing at the podium decided to call in a manager who stormed over to us and demanded the kid without the wristband to leave the area. I told... More

We have taken our family to this park in the past, and enjoyed ourselves immensely. This was not the case on Sunday July 19, 2015. To begin with, two different slides were temporarily shut down for maintenance work and the average wait time was around 40-50 minutes per ride. Food and alcoholic beverage lines and prices were absolutely ridiculous. We... More

We went for a special Girl Scout event! The girls had a great time. Lots of lifeguards. Girls are 9 and 10 years old and they ran all over the place together. We felt safe in letting them do that. Park is not super huge so that's good. Food was provided by the event. It was good. Get there when... More

This review applies only to mid-week visits, especially later in the day!!! (I would never go on a weekend, and avoid Monday's and Fridays because of long lines) We live nearby, so it's great for my 10 year old. Season pass is reasonable so we can go anytime, sometimes for a full day and sometimes for a couple of hours.... More

We were just in Colorado and wanted to take our 5 & 7 year olds to water world but it was closed due to poor weather. We were excited to learn there was one in California. Wow were we ever disappointed. It's nothing like the one in Colorado. Our 5 year old couldn't go on any of the slides except... More

Here's how the day went: 10:15: Line of cars all the way down Waterworld parkway and out to Willow Pass, get to the parking lot and it's $10 to park (regardless of what pass you have) 10:45: The line at the registers is out to the parking lot and not moving. I have a season pass, so I wait in... More

It was my first time there (I'm a mom, late 40's). To be honest, i was kind of dreading it. But I ended up having a BLAST! Went with my husband and 2 kids 17 & 11. They also had a total blast. In fact this year, we bought a season pass for the younger one. Made me giggle like... More

This place was awesome and perfect for family of various ages. Lets see I traveled with a 7.5 year old, 13 year old, 16 year sold, and 21 year old. two adults and a 74 year old. Diverse, right. I found the water and place clean, the food in there was not complete junk food, and the price was not... More

I just came back from Water world in Concord. I read all the reviews before I visited. I have to agree with most of them. Without an explanation the water temperature in all the pools vary. The wave pool is much warmer than all the others. The Lazy River feels like the arctic run off. Very cold. Now granted with... More
